  1. Any of these issues all fixed up with the NEW site now?
  2. Ah ha,now the forum link works after. Signing in to forum once
  3. I am on iPad too, just cleared ALL history and it seems to be working as shown when using the hamburger menu button. The hidden image thing was the font disappearing into the background on the drop down menu. Funny thing now, got nowhere when pressing the forum button, but that could be something to do with clearing the history and not going to forum separately and signing in since we STILL have two identities on this site. One for main site and another for forums. Will that be the same here on out or. Might we go to a single ID in thefuture?
  4. Great, somebody else is getting that HIDDEN IMAGEe issue too, I find it is only with my iPad AND it is harder to see on photo pages, but perfect on forum pages?? Chris, my eyesight is bad too, but new glasses are working for me, perhaps it is time you get them peepers checked.😜 All kidding aside, the font just takes a tiny bit away from the background photo and that is why I bring it up.
  5. A FEW inputs I hope. I can't get anything to change on the drop downs on the REAL CAR page you just referenced and I do want to know HOW DOES someone find that when they are looking for it. I am an ID 10 T error kinda person, so please bear with my stupidity if you will. I have an Ipad and plonked around on the site with that earlier in the day and now on the desktop with Firefox. I like the FAST UP button on the main site and would like to know if you have plans to add that to the forums pages as it would help immensely for me I think. Other things are the FONT SIZE. I think it is TOO HUGE and wondered if something between the size of the TamiyaClub logo and the current GIANT letters would be suitable for every one else too??? Just asking, not demanding. I think the Ipad did it to me earlier, but there were some TINY links that blended in too easily with the background and I couldn't see them all when I was trying that out, but you might have fixed that. when I get more time on the Ipad and can research it better, I will let you know. Thanks for the leaps and bounds you have done thus far with this great looking site.
  6. Oh, BTW, KAMTECH make that era Scirocco, FYI OH WAIT it is a Corrado they make, still not a badd looking car http://www.ebay.com/itm/311655513246?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  7. Sure, I'm looking forward to the Subaru Outback or forester
  8. I have an old MK1 Golf shell here from Kamtech ages ago, It is for sale, but sadly I am in the USA, so shipping might be an issue for some. Oh, it is UNPAINTED as most of my things are, but I did cut the body out.
  9. Yep, I have figured that out now, but at that time, I didn't know WHAT I had. Now I do
  10. Well, that is a nice collection of nuts you got there. Thanks, but BDay went alright, would have only been better if I had gone shopping for Tamiya, but there is always tomorrow. You are correct, we need to find the meeting place of all the North American Tamiya Nuts.
  11. I am unable to respond as my wife has begun monitoring all my online correspondence. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  12. YOU KNOW WHAT???? THAT LOOKS GREAT JUST LIKE THAT< I might take that idea and roll with it, but will use "VINTAGE RED" on my paint and keep the gold wheels ala Hot Shot!!!! VERY COOL I know what you mean, I need to pare down considerably and it doesn't seem to move very fast off the posts for sale here on TC, I can't figure that out, I thought all the Tamiya nuts were collected in one can here on this site. Other than a little lifted in the rear, I like the stance on this version of the FJ40 vs the CR version. I know it has something to do with the wheels and tires, but still looks BETTER to me on this ORV chassis. I wonder if magnetic mounts would work well in there and on the sides??? I loved the wheels in gold, but that is my opinion.
  13. Thanks, I just discovered I have a full set of MX60 wheels that I now need to find tires for. I didn't know what I had, just that the vintage rubber wouldn't go on them, so the hunt continues. At the price listed, it would be great if ANY ONE really could offer that kind of ESC for that little money, I havne't found any yet that weren't made and sold from a seller in China with the requisite one month wait time for shipping. I think SCollins gave me just the nose for one of these HPI Firebirds Oh COME ON, you KNOW you want to open it and it will give you better handling on the Fox.
  14. Yea, TAMIYA LISTEN UP, time to get us some good looking FWD bodies that will fit this chassis, but if I am honest, you could retread the BMW Mini as it is extended length chassis, I forget the measurement in mm, but thinking it is the medium length and Mazda 2, ick, let's pay attention Tamiya and get some good looking FWD bodies out for this cool looking chassis that I want one of now.
  15. A birthday box from my brother, didn't open it yet, don't want to spoil the surprise yet. Not much else. NICE, I have those wheels for my 2002, but they are giving me fits on fitment in the arches, might have to go back to the standard minilites from the kit Tamiya. I really would like to figure out why my Mtronix doesn't want to work, but it is second hand and been here for ages. I do wonder how much that gem cost you and perhaps it will justify me trying to buy another one or three for builds around here.
  16. I could suggest RED, just like the Astute, looks very Ferrariesque to me. Gunmetal should be great and with MCI, you can alter almost ANY of the decal colors to change things up for your particular color scheme, just ask PintoPower, he seems to get them to make ANYTHING he wants.
  17. WOW, that looks pretty cool in Black. If you need that rear body mount for your ST Dragon, I have a loose one here and the body DOES fit onto a Hornet. I had a scan around here of about 4 different chassis that St Dragon body would plop onto provided you did a bit of alternate body trimming. If folks need a part here and there for these, reach out to me, I have some limited supply of bits NO TIRES, might even have a wheel???
  18. You better WRAP THAT RASCAL, let's see how many old folks are out here on TC with a remark like that.
  19. It was over the weekend, but got some RC time with SCollins late Friday night and no photos made of that, but come Sunday morning, had some hang out time with my old buddy Jay and handed him the controls to the FJ40 I built not long ago. Oh yea, took SCollins to a junkyard too. THIS ONE is for you Erich
  20. It was a couple days ago, Saturday to be exact, but I have had a pretty busy weekend and week already. I got a NEW to me 4000 MaH 6V battery charger, original Tamiya version for the lighter socket of the car. The box states it would take in the range of 60 minutes to charge up the big battery for the 3 speed trucks. I didn't realize it at the time, but I also had one of the batteries laying in the garage too. I did find out that my battery had been altered to a "Standard" 7.2V plug end, so I guess I will have to open it and alter it back, perhaps even upgrade it to something more modern, but all in due time as I have that project buried on the back burner. What I find funny is the charger's size isn't at all different from the 6V-1200MaH battery charger I already had. Just the case colors were different and I suspect the internal circuits will be different as well. The black charger's instructions state it will charge the 1200 MaH battery in just 15 minutes. Gotta love old tech??!! I have my eye on a couple different more additions from Tamiya in this department and I may not have posted a photo to date of the other chargers I have here, but there will be a post in my showroom sooner or later on that.
  21. That looks pretty darn cool, but I am scratching my head at that servo saver and links job there???!@!! I think I need to send you a Super Champ servo saver and have you fit it or perhaps an old school Kimbrough servo saver???
  22. I can see where a lack of interest in vintage racing is NOT helping us and it is still my opinion that if the HS and others were set up say like a Top Force, well then you only need ONE ball diff in the rear and the gear diff in the front and if someone would remake a one way bearing for the HS, well now we are are talking right??? I too would have loved to see this project, hope it doesn't die, but it is because the cars are not getting thrashed out there on the track in massive numbers that this project won't go. EVEN though some 6 different cars were potentially going to benefit from making a single ball diff, it is a lot to ask someone to throw down $60 some odd for one part that is perhaps not needed to go out and have some fun. I really can't wait to get myself back to building the ORV as I intend to build one with the MIP diff and one without to see how they perform side by side
  23. That looks like a lot of fun Ironsights, keep it up and I will be sending you a TANK to paint for me.
  24. Okay, thanks for that clarification, looks very YELLOW there.
  25. Sorry, forgot to laud praise on you for taking a different approach to the Striker, perhaps this one could be called Darth Vader's Striker??? Very cool to see something different. I of course have heard that PintoPower wants to go CRAZY with his color scheme.
