If you did what I did to my FAV, perhaps you might have missed a shim or bearing inside that gearbox build. I didn't believe it myself that I had messed up like that after all these years, but sure enough, pulled it apart and plain as day, missing a bearing on the inside of the gearcase half where the axle shaft passed through. DOH

The "Postman Brought Me" Thread
Crash Cramer replied to backtomyroots's topic in General discussions
I AGREE, I haven't even looked at mine or taken it out of its bag for fear I won't ever get it painted up the way I want it. I am torn between the box art red and a nice period green though. I won't even share my experience recently with a LandCruiser bodyshell that I tried to hack out, err I mean cut correctly. -
That Scorcher looks great, re re or not, it certainly is a change from the normal.

USA member help request to post to UK - pretty please?
Crash Cramer replied to Jason1145's topic in General discussions
Hey Jason, I haven't been into the forums much at all, especially since the refresh, but I am in the USA and I know how to ship a thing or two. Shoot me a mail and we should sort this out when I get back home on Wednesday. -

Love it, CAPTAIN CAAAAAAAVEMAN. somethimes it is the small traffic things that make us happy Chris. Thanks from myself too as I am near certain I will be using that tool in the future when I n sort out my piles of extra radio gear. -
Those look pretty good on there, better if there were anyone making narrow front wheels to match the rears, but then rubber would have to be made narrower as well, always a bit of a struggle to get more realism with these "toys"

Schedule come to be true???? I have had nearly 4 inches this week, the sun is bright and shiny right now and forecast is clear, sure hope the Austin TX forecast is nice and shiny too, the in-laws are down visiting old friends and staying at a place on Lake Travis, so we will see how much fun we can have and not look so pasty white ourselves.

Thanks, both of you, now wouldn't you know THIS time the GO TO THIS POST got me right here. I wonder if it might have something to do with the length of the posts and how much content(photos, et al) there is that could be hanging it up. Chris

Chris, I seem to be having quite the time getting into the forums from my gmail link "GO TO THIS POST" button while on my iPad. It is a Gen 2, latest IOS to my knowledge and it just goes into a blank Safari page/tab, no content. I have wanted to add my two cents worth on a bunch of things, but I can't do it from there and I guess I haven't tried it from signing into the actual forum as I would spend all day searching for the forums that I was being updated on and such, call me a bit lazy, but I much like the clik a link to jump right into the pool and on my iPad it ain't happening, but on my computer, it works well. Still getting little to no time on the new site, but I a hoping for some more time in the future, BIG learning curve for me on this mod, but I am willing to give it a go before I throw up my hands in disgust.

AND they don't seem to come up with that number when I am looking on eBay for those exact item numbers, great search engine folks at eBay@Q!! THOSE are just stunning Truck, they look to have a proper offset in the center nut section unlike the Tamiya made ones. I can't wait to see what you do with them. -
Ahem, that would be a bit of a waste of some very good whiskey IMHO, you should send me the bottle and enjoy the bashing.

I sure can RESEMBLE that right there.

Nah, didn't really hit an ORANGE nerve, just about as frustrated as Alonso about Honda's lack of a package to compete as I am a closet Honda fan. It does seem though that Alonso likes to blow things up. Sulk all you want about that rock, I can tumble it all polished for ya if you want to turn it into jewelry. That prop has simply been "lightened" for racing purposes, that's all.

THAT was uncalled for, YELLOW CARD for you. The stone is a great keepsake, should put it on a necklace to remind you of the carnage, the output cup, think I have done similar breakage or at least serious wallow out, so that wasn't so surprising to me as that GIANT stone in the prop shaft. DON'T steal your wife's hairdryer, I found out the hard way and DON'T Sleep style either.

Only way to be sure is to go backwards to the original knuckles and parts etc and run it like you have been and see what happens.

Hoping some photos and details are on the way for this BLUNDER of yours soon. Keep us baited and teased.

LOOKS EXTRA SEXY, nice Now that was a nice find, seems I had some Focus Martini livery decals around here that I can't seem to fit onto anything and I don't have that shell, hmmmm, seems you might need them.

AMPro ORV Chassis Upgrades and...err...upgraded upgrades?
Crash Cramer replied to Pintopower's topic in TC Designs...
Quick and cheap, that's my middle name, oh wait, it's actually FRUGAL. -
Well, I sure hope I didn't imply that I felt it was only aimed at mobile, I realize that us dinosaurs will have to upgrade sometime this decade too, but I am figuring most code from this day onward will have to play nicely with all the gadgets in the world and I don't mind the learning, but it does make it interesting at best to go from one look to the other for me, and I FOR ONE am interested in STATS, so looks interesting to me. Chris

Alright, that seems to give me the information that was lacking in my head, the site is geared a little more heavily toward MOBILE devices which I don't get to use as much as I mentioned, I am just starting my use of an iPad for computing and such. I am one of those dinosaurs attached to a desktop computer most times. I admit, my wife thinks I am married to it more than to her, so perhaps this change and use of the iPad could help my marriage, or not??? Who knows. LOL Hamburger menus are something alltogether new to me, so there you have it, will work with sorting that out. Where I totally agree the photos are as big if not better than the old ZOOM function, perhaps it is the left margin justification that is throwing me a bit for orientation purposes. I know, visual/spatial, call me Sheldon Cooper I guess, but it seemed nice to have the photos front and centered before with that function and perhaps now since the comments are below the posts, could you think about the option to put the photos in the posts in the center of the screen and not off to one side with a distracting amount of white space over to the right?? Just me asking, not demanding or throwing a fit. On the Avatars, two things, the SUBSCRIBER ribbon does seem a bit distracting in its size, but it also sometimes covers up the finer details of the photo in the square, my own Avatar is a perfect example, but someone like SCollins Avatar isn't obscured as much with the ribbon. It is those same Avatars on the members "ABOUT ME"(old name) page that I always liked to see in larger format as often times, the photo was something not seen in a showroom post or anywhere else. If that doesn't clear up a few things, let me know. Thanks again Chris, Chris

Oh yea, forgot that one end is reversed threaded.I have used 4/40 in the past, but don't like blending it with Tamiya all the time.
