  1. If you are able to make large "dummy" blanks for those front wings, it would help out every Blackfoot driver and such as they break off in no time when you drive and flip. My Ranger is currently missing that lower valance or whatever you would like to call it and I have no skills to tackle that work, so I wish you luck and hope for the future of 3D printing to take over and make these a cut and paste repair in the future.
  2. Those BOTH look awesome after the cleaning. I hope your not endangered by the fires anytime this season. I might have the steering wheel for that Brat hanging around here, but will have to to clean up my mess first to have a decent look. I sure hope 2018 brings me all the time I need to get to all the fine details of sorting out every last bit I have here for cars I don't own and won't get a chance to own either.
  3. Wow, that looks great, better than any I have seen before. I am going to have to get myself an ultrasonic cleaner AND I am going to have to get your recipe book for cleaning bits with it. LOVE the room and HEY, you got a QD Monster Beetle. I dig the shelving against the brick, very interior decorator of you. I have to admit, I was almost crosseyed earlier today looking at the 3 lane racetrack trying to figure out just how the lanes switched, but more importantly WHERE they switched. Not much better here on the big computer, but hey, maybe that is just a sign I need to come over for some racing on that track in your man cave. I agree TIRE DECALS are way much more cooler than haveing to deal with an interior as well as painting it.
  4. Pay them a small RANSOM!!!???!
  5. That is crazy good, bet your kid is the coolest one on the block now.
  6. Is that truly a question or more of a lament that you might have that many spares??? I do have some SuperChamp bits here NIP, so if you want to see about more...
  7. WOW, that is a SWEEEET Deal on all that goodiness.
  8. IT'S GUMMY CANDY FOOL, can't you see that???!!! I wish WE could get some Starmix here in the states, never seen that variant available here.
  9. It helps ONLY when the member actually lists whereabouts, frustrates me to no end, but that could be my OCD stepping in. I would be lucky to be able to post the M01 I have here to you for a paltry $76, USPS rates have climbed yet again, cost nearly $14 to send a flat bubble pack to Wandy last week.
  10. HONESTLY, that box is of a sturdy type as you can see the corner crushing took the beating they put it through, but they, the shipper, not Hermes per se, could have done you both a favor and put some more substantial padding inside so it wouldn't have caved in. Just ask some folks about my shipping methods, I put corner guards into boxes so it won't get get overly abused during transit, but I did work for FedEx a stint before 9/11 and learned just how "delicately" we handled the packages, no matter what the box had marked on it. If anything, I learned how to pack properly to be ready for anything, including Ace Ventura delivery persons. Those are some hungry puppies. were those yellow Mini wheels a local purchase or found on the WWW???
  11. I'm sure the shipping would kill us both, but I have the s2000 body, someone before me painted it red and it could use some TLC, you also have to put the larger than M sized wheels on it per the kit, I have a set of those in silver, but the tires might be glued, got a set of HD in black, also tires might be glued. If you have an interest in getting the body, I could see what it might cost to get to you. I think the decal sheet should be the second hardest thing you would have to find, unless MCI have made it???
  12. Looks in good condition, sure hope the M04 specific parts are intact, but there is a member 3d printing a few bits for the m04 these days, perhaps with more to come. I have a similar addiction, have all from 1-6, just have to get them sorted and rebuilt and of course they have come out with 7, so now have to figure out when I will get one of those and what body will it have on it.
  13. Yep, similar rates going on at USPS these days too.
  14. I don't have a photo, but I did get my M05 bearing set today in the mail even though it was delivered SATURDAY, seems my postie can't read my address anymore and gave it to my neighbor down the block, they just got back to town, so now I don't have a trip to the post office to raise some cain tomorrow, scratch that from my list, but now I can go to another post office and put some bits in the mail for Wandy.
  15. Seems I had only one or two parts for a WW here, get me a measurement or some information on that radio lid and I will measure the one I got here. AND NO, it isn't wet, I didn't get flooded this trip.
  16. I haven't seen a bumper like that before either. I might have some loose bits for your rebuild, things are starting to seem like normal around here again, so drop me a line on things I might help you out with.
  17. Bet them moles didn't know what hit 'em. Perhaps you could make a side job of extermination of said moles using your new gadget, it needs to be rigged with drop mines a la CaddyShack. LOL
  18. Thanks Y'all, it has been an unending barage of rain mostly where I live, the footage is mostly of the downtown area where streets literally turn into rivers with heavy rains and when the bayous overflow their banks. I am a bit more concerned for the area of Texas called Rockport where Harvey made landfall as I have learned through one passed email that there is a lot of damage to EVERYTHING there. It was mentioned that not one tree had any leaves on them anymore and of course there must be plenty of structures that have seen damage. So far, we have been on high enough ground to avoid water coming in the house and neither have we experienced any street flooding in our neighborhood and directly surrounding area. There is even a grocery store or two open in case I need more beer since it looks like myself and the wife won't be going to work all week long. At least she will get paid for it, I unfortunately work as contract, so I get paid only when I actually work. Ah well, we will make it through and I pray that all the really devastated areas will be okay and get back to a normal state of mind soon enough.
  19. That looks pretty cool, I am finding it very much a shame that I don't own an RC BOAT as it would come in real handy these last couple of days. I am still dry and so is the collection of Tamiya, but I am not sure for how much longer we can sustain these downpours and NOT get water in the house. I am a bit on high ground, but how do you say that knowing you are only about 170 feet above sea level??? Thanks to all the folks who have emailed me a bit worried on my account, I can't thank you enough for the concern and well wishes, I think we will make it through the next couple of days but the folks south of me in HOUSTON, well, they will be making a clean up for some time to come, perhaps into the New Year at this point in time. I don't mean that to be sarcastic, it literally will take a long time to clean up after a record setting rain event like this.
  20. Oh that is looking great, I just hope that cow doesn't come over and ruin your track or make any additions to it either.
  21. Always good to see this updated. I forgot to ask you, what photo server are you using now?? I might have to switch over myself soon.
  22. It is truly sad news to hear this, I only got to trade with him a few times and unfortunately, I don't seem to have any of his artwork here in my collection. I say artwork as it is truly very nice the things he made for this hobby of ours. I only hope he can continue to inspire other folks here on TC in his postings and details that are second to none. I hate to say something like this, but it won't be long until we have an "IN MEMORIUM" page for members that have gone on. Chris, perhaps you can begin that work now with a fresh mind and we can all remember some of the folks that make this online community seem more like a big worldwide family. Now if you excuse me, I will have to explain to my wife why I am watching old RC dvds and weeping a touch.
  23. Well, that is one way to wash the buggies, nice
  24. I totally know what you mean on that, when it comes to it, I can be of help sending cracked and broken parts for the M01/2 as it seems I never throw stuff away, even crappy parts, only really totally destroyed parts find their way into the bin.
