Has Tamiya released sequels to designs by simply changing the chassis in the past? I love Plasma Edge ....and I have one on my shelves as a Mint Shelfie.....But to think Tamiya would just put the same body on another chassis is annoying....and lazy of Tamiya. I am hoping the Racing Fighter is supposed to be a sequel to the Rising Fighter....using a hopped up DT03 chassis that could really be classed as DT03MS. Plus I like the sound of a Monte Carlo Impreza. That's my two pence worth lads

Oh Dear...I hope that isn't a glitch for every kit??!! My Novafox was supplied with 2 similar thickness bevel gears, when the manual showed it should have 2 different thickness bevel gears. Are the parts the right ones? Tamiya has made Quality Control errors in the past!

I quite like the rear window wide open. A Beetle of this type wouldn't have rear glass, probably not even side glass. Hot Rods have loads of glass missing. I love the wheels and tyres.....I am going to paint the body though...I hate naked plastic. I will wet & dry it....then grey primer it....then 2 coats of red (maybe Italian red) ...then stickers....then a sprayed clear coat or just leave it.....detailing will be airbrushed....like My Blitzer Beetle is...matt black rubber etc. I read about some people's concerns over the re-release compared to the original....but that doesn't bother me. I will enjoy it as it is.....a fun good looking Beetle!

I placed a back-order for this as soon as it was "rumoured" to be re-released. Joanne at Fusion Hobbies said she would let me know as soon as the release date was announced and I am pleased to say my back-order is now in the process of ordering a brand new unopened example for little old me So glad this is going ahead......I will get one NIB for now......with the 2nd NIB following just before Christmas if possible. LOVE the Beetle!!!!!!!!!

Well I love it. I am in the process of hopping up my Neo Scorcher at the moment with better wheels, bigger pinion, aluminium adjustable shocks and adjustable turnbuckles. Seeing as I have the standard Dual Ridge, plus the Pink Neo Scorcher...I can't live with myself not having this one as well!!! Hello my name is Simon and I am a Tamiyaholic.....

Hi guys I want to hop-up my Neo Scorcher runner..... As part of my hopping up I want to change the wheels and tyres. Ebay has tons of them, but I am worried they might be too big. Can anybody recommend me some (other than Tamiya ones)? I would like some that are durable but a bit bling.....that are hard wearing and will let me power slide...... Thanks Simon

Well lads, the next Shizouka Show is nearly here, and it is at this time of the year when we re-release enthusiasts start getting excited about what we can expect. I am hoping for the Falcon or the Hotshot II....but I will believe it when I see it. Has anybody heard anything about anything yet? Any detectives out there to put me out of my misery? lol

If you go to TamiyaBlog.....it looks like they are having a few open days for a CUSTOM DESIGN exhibition. I think this means we will get another Jun Watanabe design of maybe the Frog of the Grasshopper! I can only imagine what is in store....... A pink Grasshopper with yellow flowers? A green Hotshot with orange wheels?

I have 2 nibs......I reckon I will make it 3 nibs before June this year.... You can never have too many Novafoxes!!! lol

Hi guys, Just to let those who don't know, that Tamiya has discontinued the wonderful Novafox very recently. I have bought my 2nd NIB today - but I may hunt down another soon!!! I notice that Modelsport UK has some in stock. A sad day......for us fans....

@ Dorvack I struggle sometimes to understand Tamiya. What is Kumamon all about and why make a Tractor dedicated to it? Chassis and body combinations..... I wish i could understand Tamiya more....lol

I think the Japanese mind is a mystery...... It sees black when we see white.......it sees order when we see chaos...........it sees amusing when we see annoying...... The Japanese mind.........is in charge of our beloved Tamiya.

In my opinion, the White Dark Impact is designed to be a shelfie only. The chassis will become beige with dirt...and the body remain white ish. So....beige and white ish.......best to leave it on the shelf.....
