well as ive said in my hello thread im an 80s brat and something we do in the office is try and remember things we had, ate, wanted, watched etc its a bit of a blast from the passed and can be quite fun add pics if need be so we can see what your on about, so ill start and you guys just add on if wana join in toys: food: tv/movies tech star wars marathons krypton factor Walkman/discman slinky opal fruits bulls eye ghetto blasters rubiks cube 54321 bars thundercats those green led calculators (casio) boglins knicker bloka glorys he man toploader vhs player theres a few to get us started im sure we will get many more on the go

yeah add me bud im gona drop mrs off at work in a min then ill be on it, now theres new planes on the us tech tree I realy realy want the jets now theres 3 of them I should be on around 1730 do you have team talk/Skype etc

thanks for the welcome bromvw I hoping to have fun and make some new friends along the way and agreed on the friendliness already the welcomes are appreciated ive been on a few forums where its been lets say nerve testing at best and downright annoying on the other end of the spectrum. my hobbys are airbrushing and call of duty on ps3 amongst other things im also still a bit of a chavy boy racer so spend a lot of time and effort on my pride and joy which was my mitsi gallant vr4 which was packing a whopping 480bhp until I had to sell it but im looking at something a bit special for my next toy however that's maybe next year now its either going to be a smokey and the bandit trans am 6.6v8 or a Nissan skyline r33gtst im not keen on the gtr purely due to the 4wd but the rb26det conversion is something I would consider if I go skyline route. I have always wanted both cars for a long time and im in reach of having 1 of them so I got some time to find the right one. idealy I would prefer the trans am and stick it in the garage and do a full nut and bolt rebuild but there is something about turbos and dump valves that gets me excited

thanks for the heads up big steve I fully intend to invest in this hobby ive been on and off for years but now im kinda hoping to stick around ive been in to rc as long as I can remember but never fully done anything with it so this time im gona give it a try I was toying with rc helicopters etc but ive talked myself out of that looks to complicated and im not the best at multi tasking or so the other half tells me anyway I thought I manage alright but she is never wrong EVER! apparently (except when she is wrong 99% of the time shhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! I never said that aloud) quick quick drive (noob) question how do you upload a profile pic I keep getting file to large 1kb max ive got a couple of good pics under 1kb but it still gives the same message that file is too large

Hello guys/girls my names craig and im 34 living in east yorks uk, this is just a quick hello thread and introducing myself to you all. well on the rc front ive had a few in the past being an 80s brat I had a lot of remote controlled cars the wired ones where you had to walk with it or just go back and forwards the most memerobal was a bmw m3 e30 which was my pride and joy until it stopped working and I decided to try fix it at 8years and unfortuantly well it got binned I never did manage to get it going from there I then had my first Tamiya rc which was in the form of madcap and I loved it 100% at this time I was living in Germany and joined a rc club at my school and my beloved mad cap met a deadly end with a Tamiya luchbox which decided to go head on with mine and killed my madcap not impressed and neither was my dad who spent ages putting it together for me :-/ from there I then bought my first first Tamiya rc which was a tl01 escort cosworth which is now 16 years old and I still have like I said it was a cosworth tl01 then I changed it to a mustang shell and changed the wheels and turned it in to a mustang boss and that's how it stayed for a long time parked up on mantle gathering dust, I then decided to get it going again a few years ago and it transformed in to what it is now which is a focus wrc shell on the same chasis I took it out had a prang and needed to replace the chasis as It decided to break not surprised after 16 years but hey I changed the chasis for the first time I also deicided to go the whole hog and decided to upgrade the old girl so I went and got a mortage and bought the entire Tamiya hop up parts list then after a heated discussion with the the lass I was with about the money spent on in her words a poxy toy it went back on the mantle well new mrs new life new house etc and the old girl is getting another makeover as I need a hobby and the the new mrs agrees winner so ive replaced the chasis again this weekend and waiting for all the new metal parts turning up from various places and she is now going to become a drift monster. however I cnat decide on going the Tamiya r32 gtr skyline route or the new gtr Nissan shell ill let ya know when I do however the led lights etc have been ordered the new drift wheels and tyres etc have also been ordered just a waiting game now to get my old girl running again. this was supposed to be a quick intro so sorry for going on a bit but anyhow I look forward to getting to know you all over time if you have any questions or anything just feel free to ask unless its my bank account info lol anyways ill post a couple of pics of the focus old chasis and new thanks for reading craig
