  5. happy Christmas and a happy new from my home to all of yours and look forward to seeing all the crimbo builds
  6. The new light kit is still being tinkered with bud the thing thats taking the time is the moving wings. Im using an rc micro servo and rc servo tester to operate the servo to make the wings go up and down, the problem is the mechanics due to the lack of space. The lights are done, the soundboard is done which now plays voyagers theme tune, and like voyagers intro when it gets to voyager going into warp and the wings move and warp engines turn on thats all done its the actual mechanics thats holding up the process as my original isnt fluid enough. The base is almost finished with all the electronics in its just putting the lid on and mounting voyager. I have not posted any pics of progress as its nearly finished i was going to do a big explanation once ive figured out the wings bud. The aliens apc is slowly getting done also and im on with the custom interior which isnt as easy ill update that thread shortly and work along with sneaking the unimog shell out and trying not to caught by the mrs is proper special forces black ops stuff lol
  7. well i have done some more weathering the 3 rd stage so far, the first was the base coat of vallejo desert sand the 2nd was aluminium which was dry brushed for scratches and heavy wear effects the 3 rd was is mig productions weathering oils this being dark mud to give that used grimey look and to define panel lines, next will be dark rust and star ship filth so as to give it that proper well used and abused one carful owner from new look lol the starship filth once thinned right down will be fuel/oil and general grime weathering effects so heres where im at with the mog so far.

  12. ooooh I never even thought of that I know the exact place to go now you mentioned that brom ill go have a look at weekend when i go for that brass tubing heres the first coat of colour
  13. well i couldnt cope with the mog sat in front of me anymore so ive started on the shell, i have ordered another moggy shell so if i balls up the first i have a spare to replace it with, so this shell im going to paint and weather it up to get the look right then on with the chopping cutting bodging shouting crying lol i didnt get chance to get the brass pipe yet so thats a weekend job to get that, i need more styrene to make the new rear bed. the standard bed is flush to the top of the side panels so im going to make a new bed by cutting the original out and dropping the floor down so its where it should be, then off with the cab, windscreen, doors etc. does anybody know where i can get tiny hinges for the new windscreen and balistic door panels? ive looked on the 1/16 tanks forums which ive found quite a bit but no hinges etc.
