Ahhh another Mashigan! I have the paint and stickers to create a Jurassic park version for mine (a long term project along with my cc-02 jeep)

The boomer servo lexan cover has always been part of the kit, Inc the original. Like the bumper stickers it can be missed when eagerly going through the build. I would have guessed that the dark impact rear cva2 shocks would have been a similar length (longer shafts) but I'm glad they are the original type

My boomerangs have also arrived. It's curious that its basically the same model rere as from 2017/8, fire dragon, thundershot tamiya updated a few parts, changed shocks and prepainted the body from the previous rere but for the Boomerang it's remained the same. Potentially the super sabre looks to be the revised model so possibly the boomerang will be another short production run? Sometimes I have feel that tamiya don't care as much about this model as others that have been updated?

Well they are paid for and hopefully arrive by the weekend!

I have discovered that although raffall.com is protected similar to PayPal that Facebook groups are still hesitant to allow posting of it, which means without a Kevin Talbot following it's exposure has been limited. I therefore announce I have now paid £30 to make it public in the hope it gets more traction. Please continue to share and share again in places weekly, it would be a shame if more tickets are not sold and the winner ends up with a tiny cash prize instead!

A question if you please...... Are the shocks still the original cva? The potiential rere super sabre has cva2 style red shocks The second rere of the thundershot changed the cva to cva2, for the boomer?

The tyres are not hard like the typical cc-01's but they are firm, had them on my cc-02

Can you confirm with acetone that it's in a sealed pot where only the vapours would be affecting the wheels and tyres? I know you can't submerge wheels in the acetone but the vapour should be ok?

Tamiyas stock stagnation is one of the reasons I tried readily available 1/8 scales and larger with the consequence that it's a scale that i now prefer. I think for tamiya to attempt to compete with slightly larger scales could launch an affiliate brand alongside like others do?

I have used the cleaning brush set many times with success, if I recall there was one time a similar situation happened, I think I replaced the working brush first, rather than just putting the cleaning brush on one side....so in effect I was changing the brushes a built earlier that time
