Hello I was trying to get a profile picture of a btcc car from google images but can't get it to work keeps saying image is to big even when a pick a small picture

Blue thread locker should help, not hurt, as you won't have to tighten the nut as much. Also look into serrated wheel nuts; the serrated surface will bite into the wheel plastic and work pretty well. This is common in 1/8 scale vehicles.

I once tried to fit some Associated B44 hex hubs instead of replacement Tamiya hex hubs, but the cross pin diameter wasn't right. The standard and wide Tamiya hex hubs are the only two options as Percymon points out.
Great thank you
-
There are no other thin ones I know of outside tamiya stock or "wide" versions
great thank you I had put my wheel nuts on with loctite blue maybe had them to tight
-
As you know there's not much meat to the hex parts, so over tightening of the wheel but will stress them. The "wide" track versions are a little thicker but only 0.5mm each !
yes there's not much to them so have I done the right thing in ordering more tamiya ones never thought to ask if there were any other choices or upgrades

bit of a late post I got a couple of lipos about a month ago cant believe the difference in speed and also the run time also couldn't believe how light they are compared to nihm
-
I had my durga out yesterday and one of the hub hexs split in half I have ordered another set just wondering if any of you could please tell my if it is common for them to split

CVAs! I got these but you need either the kit springs (way too hard) or replace them with your own.
great thank you

Nice job with the decals I messed up on the one front wing side but after my first run with it it got so dusty you don't notice it as much plus it's been rolled a couple of times since then lol

I shall indeed! Still no sign of the shell though, so it won't be starting quite yet...
Great will look forward to it
-
Lol your right about the shocks mine bounces about every where on ran on gravel what shocks can you get for the tt02

Went through my box o' bits in preparation for my TL01 Evoque build. Chose the following:
5 x Fastrax black beadlock rims
CC01 tyres (could only find 4, need to source another as a spare)
A pair of 1/10 PIAA spotlights
2 x large and 2 x small brake disc hexes
2 x locked TL01 diffs from a former drifter
CC01 stock front bumper (possible bullbar?)
Misc. tow straps and other scale gubbins
Hopefully the shell will arrive tomorrow and I can get on with the build!
Will you be doing a build thread on it
-
Great build thread so far Nic, I really like the different ways this chassis can be set up depending on the type of car it's being used for. My only reservation would be that openness of the tub as I can see it needing a fair bit of cleaning out after a 'stage'.
You are right about the dirt getting could not believe how dirty my got after it's first run

There are dozens of novels... but for the real background the rules are actually the best source or the individual codex's and army lists..
I challenged myself a little with these speed painting wise... ended up about 25 mins per figure. I'll dress them up and detail the faces etc once I get a magnifying glass so I can actually see them LOL
Ok great thank you I got a mini rule book in the box set but haven't had a look at it yet wow 25mins a model is quick lol I will get a photo up of some of my dark angels when I get them finished
-
Could you recommend any books that I could read the background story of 40k I really enjoy painting and would like to read up on the story no idea how to play lol as don't have anyone to play only went for the box set as thought it was a good price for all the models the came with it looking toward to seeing your models you will make my painting look rubbish lol
tamiya vajra what are they like?
