I rebuild the shocks. Sadly i had no orange O Rings at hand. There were no inner Spacers installed. But i archeived to higher the rideheight by choosing the inner holes of the Arms instead of the outer holes. Also i put the outer Spacers of the rear shocks UNDER the springstopper on the Bottom to get higher Tension. Si now i have longer dampening and it doesn't bottom out as fast as before.

I got my DT-03 yesterday. It was already assambled and i think the Groundclerence is not very good. The car bottoms out when i let it fall from 20 cm or so. Maybe the preowner sued some Spacers inside the CVA, but i can`t understand why you would ever use a Spacer in them. I´ts an off road car. I think the wider the Damper puts the rod out the better it is (to a certain level). I think it is not wrong to have 3 cm or air so under the Car when you installed a Nimh and a little bit extra "negative dampening" when you lift the car. How do you set up your CVAs in the DT-03? If there are Spacers, i will remove them from the shock.

I mean is 4m the right thredsize? Diameterwise not lenghtwise but it is good to know that the thread is 9mm long, so i assume that i could use 8mm in the Front and 10 mm Wheel hexes in the back when i use the associated low profile 4m Wheelnuts. right? (Or totally wrong?)

What size of thread are on the Tamiya standard axles/drive shafts?

Ok, so you use the just for shelfers? Your cars look stunning. I also want a more realistic look, but maybe 2 of theese Nuts aren't wat i want maybe i order theese m4 associated Nuts and hope that they'll hold.

@Truck Norris What Kind of Low Profile Nutsdid you use in your Delta Build? I found "Team Associated 92254 FT Nuts M4 Low Profile Wheel Nut". But i don't know if they would fit and the shippingcosts are between 15 and 20 Dollars....

You can make the Wing by yourself. Just cut it out from a Cleaning/laundry Bottle or something or an old Plastic Gas Tank. Maybe you cannot paint them, but they will last forever. But there are Plwnty of Wings out there to Purchase...

When i look at the Photo, the Axle thread is not showing more than 1mm thread when i have the standard Nyloc Nuts on them. Do low profile Nuts hold up? Than i would search for them, because i think they would look much nicer.

As you can see on the Photo, the wheelstance are not wide enough for that Body: Now, i want to widen it with wider wheelhubs. But i don`t have the model at Hand, so i can`t measure it out.... Does anyone know what wheelhubs i should buy? No worries, my cars are never seeing a Track. I used my fastest Car on a "competition track" and it wasn`t anything near a usable Car, it was too slow to get around the Track because they use very fast cars and i think they mostly use 1:8 Cars...

I would love the option to take some Parts out of the Box and get a dicount. I change the Silvercan in 90% of my Kits imediatly. Others change the ESC, I would love to have the Chance to buy them for 10 - 15 Dollars. I like the ESCs and i use them in 2nd Hand Kits. Also i don't need Pogosticks. I love CVAs, others don't like CVAs and change them to aluminum Dampers. I would love to have the chance to buy cheap CVAs.

I will have a DT-03 with an unpainted Body sipped to me very soon. I plan to paint ut in Pink/White and put the Frog Decals on it because the Body is somewgat of an hommahe to the original Frog. But i like the Grasshoper and Hornet Paintjob more apeling to mo me. So now i don't know what to do.... Get another 2 Bodys? Get 2 more Sets? Just make a Hornet hommage? But i have 2 Hornets..... and one Comical Hornet..... and a Grasshopper.... I have no Frog. And i don't need 3 DT-03s because i already have too many cars and i will not run the DT03 very often. 2nd question: I've ordered Stabilizers, because i think they make sense. But why do so many people use carbon or aluminium damper Stays? Do they brake that easy?

Does that really make that much difference in realtion to the normal Arms? I think the normal arms are quite ok. The only thing i don't like is that the tires rub against the Body while breaking & cornering at the same Time....

It's looks way better than the Avante. But they have could moulded in the Sidevents. The Sticker looks very poor and the nose is a little bit too round. I think a sharper nose would have looked nicer. 90s F1 Style.

I think the hottest Motor i use is an 19x2 brushed Motor in a Ford Baja racing Truck. Or 2 Super Stock BZ 23 Turn in aWild Dagger. Or 2 GT tuned 25 Turn in a Clodbuster. Are they Safe? I think i never felt hot Connectors, but maybe i never touched them.....
