Hey, do you glue wheelarches into your ABS Bodys? I want to glue some into my Lancia 037. I think that it would be fairly easy so make them. But 3D printed Parts would be amazing. Does someone make 3D printed wheelarches for other models than the Sand Scorcher?

They are from this seller. https://www.ebay.at/itm/284449617800?hash=item423a84b788:g:BCYAAOSwr7ZW3yGl He made the clod ones extra for me. I need to tell him that the Diameter is just a little bit to big.

Today i put on better decals on my clod tires. I hope they will stick. The clod tires are very stickerunfriendly

Today i finished my 037 interior. First i had pained it with an Paint that flaked off. Than i used some solvent to remove the Paint and the Plastic began to dissolve. So the finish is uneven because of the dissolved Pkastic Also i can't paint with a Brush.... But it us ok, better than without an interior.

I had a 4 Led Lightkit and installed it today in my 037. It was easier than in that RC Kicks Video. I just drilled the Hole in the grille a bit bigger. Disassambled the Plug. Pulled the wires trough the hole and assambled it again. The lightbuckets just needed their holes drilled out to fit the LEDs. I think i dont install a whole lightkit with Indicators Brakelights and Headlights.

I thik the pieces are made from ABS. They are from "Scorched Parts" and the Revell Glue holds up just fine. Thanks for your input!

They are moulded in.... ...i thought But they are screwed on! Thanks I installed the Engine in the wrong scorcher btw I installed the Engine in my Herbie Scorcher. It's a much better fit. But for the second engine i have to shave 2/3 of the Back and can't install it centered and with ony one exhaust.
-
I've cutted somme groves into the fake Engine. Now i can squeeze it in. installed Dors anyone has an idea for the second engine? The exhaust is to narrow. Can you bend the 3D printed resin?

I also would love to start a collection of 3D Print Interiors. Does anyone have 3D Prints to share? I would love to install a Sand scorcher Iterior. I found that for the Grasshopper: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3803664 Edit: I purchased that part from Ebay https://www.ebay.at/itm/393614082326?hash=item5ba53a4116:g:JrkAAOSwZ~hhHopo Now i realized that there is no cutout for the on/off Switch that sits in the transparent plastic Case.

I wasn't paitent and glued them in with the Revell Glue. It holds up better than expected :D So the next Task will be to paint them or not. I could leve them white, paint them black or paint them Red. And my Problem with that Scale Engine from ebay is also not solved. I've sent the seller a message. https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?/topic/99867-sand-scorcher-scale-engine-doesnt-fit/

Hello, I didn't anthing wia the Search. I've precutted some ABS wheelarches today for testfitting. How do i glue them in? I do have the revellglue, but the Arches aren't the best fit. So i would aprechiate some thicker Glue that could fill in the Gaps between the Arches and the Bodyshell. I'm not mentally able to get another mis**** from my Scorcher. Yesterday i wanted to testfit an Engine, and it won't fit....
-
Hello, i bought 2 scale Engines and none of those fit. The first one has a to wide width. The second one would fit, but the exhaust is too narrow. Do i need some additional Parts? I want to keep that Cage....

So, i installed the Lightbuckets. They are Black on the Inside, should i paint them Silver? The Photos are a comparision between the original Lights and the new ones.

Get a cheap electronic Speedcontroller (ESC) and install Ball Bearings, that is all you really need. That will cost you about 20 Dollars. If you want a working Suspension you need Oilfilled shocks. But for the first few drives you are good with the Shocks you have installed. If you get fun out of it, oilshocks will come naturally. In a few Moths buy a Sand Scorcher, a Clodbuster and a few other Kits :D

They have IBF Stickers with them. I will get that plastic putty, so i can form a "L" Shape for mounting the Lights horizontal.

Lunchbox general discussion Thread
whahooo replied to whahooo's topic in Monster Trucks, 4x4, Wheelie Rigs and Crawlers
What is the best Way to improve the Steering of the Lunchbox besides the Double Wishbone Suspension? The lunchbox is not very Much of a turner, if i steer only one of the Wheel does the steering. I angled the Weels "toe in" to get more Steering from the other Weel.. Here on Tamiyaclub is another Mod, but there is no Picture anymore.... https://www.bing.com/search?q=tamiya+lunchbox+steering&qs=HS&pq=tam&sc=8-3&cvid=365609EC4D08473F846F86205FDF83F6&FORM=QBLH&sp=1 -
I got square Lightbuckets and prefitted them in my Wild One. I painted them White in the inner, because i didn`t had any silver at home. I think i have to get Chrome Markers. What do you think is better, Round or square Taillights?? Round (but looks cheap....) Square, but they aren`t silver inthe inside: With Covers, but i do not know what are they are for: PS: They are just prefitted, maybe i find a mount to turn the square ons 90 Degrees.

So i watched the Video of the Lightinstallation in a 037 and i have to say - it is worse than i thought He seems to be a LOT more into RCs than me, and he didn`t had fun with the installation AND he didn`t even put indicators in the Shell. He also didn`t stop the light from shining trouh the shell, that would bother me a lot.... I would love to have a full LED Settin with Indicators and Stuff.... But i don`t knof if it is worth it, i would hate the Installation Also i have found a video where a guy puts in some Light into a Grasshopper. He used squre Backlight - i also would put in some Square ones.. AND he puts in the Lights on the lower Dampermount, i think that would look pretty cool. that was also my idea when putting a light into my Hornet. In a Grasshopper i would have put the LED s into the Shell. But it bothers me that he did not had hidden the Cables. I don`t understand how people that are more into RCs dont care about visible Cables and Lights shining trough plastic and similar stuff.

Thanks, i thought so. Square Backlichts look way better on a Wild One! I wonder how to install Backlights on a Hornet, i don`t want to drill the Lexanshell, i think the end of the Dampers would be a good but odd spot.
-
Loojing good. I had simmilar lights in my Wild One, but they broke... Also i tend to install square Backlights and put the Frontlights not on the spot where you put it. I tend to put them on the spot where the original Fake lights on the Wild One are.

Hello, as i want to install as much interior in all of my cars, so i want to install LEDs in my cars. I have a Lancia Killerbody body. There were a lot of lightbuckets, so Lightinstallation was easy. Not so with the Tamiya 037.... there you have to drill holes to fit LEDs, put in some shadewalls and do al little bit of thinkering. Also in a lunchbox you need to drill holes and build some indicators.... So do you use LED lights? If you have a Hornet, Grasshopper, Wild One, Fast attack, etc. - do you use round Lamps or square Lamps and how do you mount them?

The Härtle Link says 370... I'm just to lazy to read the description.

What Material did you use? I want to install a Rollcage in every Rallycar that i Own, but i don't want to spend 10 Euros for a Rollcage that might not fit very good. https://www.ebay.com/itm/373046779759?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20190917065201%26meid%3D16df7b92b77c4209bcefa67a63664345%26pid%3D100935%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D284325889038%26itm%3D373046779759%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2332490%26algv%3DSimplAMLv9PairwiseUnbiasedWebCpr08MlcGreedyV3&_trksid=p2332490.c100935.m2460&amdata=cksum%3A37304677975916df7b92b77c4209bcefa67a63664345|enc%3AAQAGAAACEE8TBn425sC6Qah7TymXkta6M%2BD7f5FsLza3dM%2F5OmqBpRt2F6o1mdzoOD%2F69LwlBktmncb6%2FO%2FqrbEwUwdDAK7TgnGFwu3K86m1SDIDoDWgIxBHJyTq9tEhGR2qkICcROICQi3q1AbbEBI1G1T6DoqDHO%2FE8ImlIvLEt4YVuw3QDpCEeM9nkXj8h7cuNl5TpXyTXYKGaSGZ6FGG8RzKtZyJlAQziW9p%2BrAj6O%2Bos%2BgKDkOef4cQodSpeMvPKClBm%2B%2BdFxusUdIqRD66FOqkeqZRsy465gbl7s4qmGBcw4k9KT%2Beqoy8iNORLeXWcbiFM%2FFVHBdA5D6HoX16j8hjgBPk31hQNRcw4oPY8lXyXOindtp6sHPhcbSkCUnQtMsGLsaG4ro%2BGUgpVszJB7WOsdCnwiUWDAlWFHgXqdDXNp%2FVLCwcLJGabGp5vUjr%2FLNwFt9tto1TBepYTVcJxLH7pp%2FUbjlekJ4haS1d%2F8qN%2FimyyaR7xCiJXba%2Fam6BlpqUnd8SswKKMGxSiw3IR4mF4l68YNlF1hDPICmmiB1LRyWdAZUBsHUqu6kuzX%2Fv7nj4gsB7RuqXDKzbJWgwJvDGNuqpBNevLK%2BICzRaEY3xNA%2BNzQ57fwRLZQDr3j%2Fjff3zZFWOGjAOD5XQotJ3JCb6dryX9MWytegft7KpvPnVdrOioLD0Z6rc0UuNw7j%2BgMiHuQ%3D%3D|ampid%3APL_CLK|clp%3A2332490&epid=2141283809

Would a Y lead hooked up to two receivers work?
