  1. I used 9mm hex. I will do that with my Toyota too and post Pictures.
  2. I widened the track of my Lancia and put other wheelnuts on. Before: After: Also i'm thinking about oainting the Nuts in white.... What do you think?
  3. I got a basherbody. Sadly i had to drill new holes and the previous owner did cut the wheelarches not the right way....ķ
  4. @A-Baum I got them from https://www.rcdecals.co.uk/search-results?q=astute The Decalsheet is precutted soft/stretchy and very thick. I like that, but it is hard to get them into small Gaps. Also they do not attach if you using windex (Windowcleaner). I put the decals dirctly on the shell without Windex because the first Sticker i applied didn`t hold very well. Also because of the thickness they aren`t usable for scalebuilds, because you "see" the decals. But for Buggys and stuff like that, i like that stretchy thick decals a lot more.
  5. @shenloco was the fist one that i saw that got a Parcel from him.
  6. So, it´s done for the biggest part. I stickered most of the Stickers from a Reprosheet and think does not look as bas as i thought in that red metallic tone. I think i leave the red Oilshocks in and only change the Wheels into black ones that i have laying around from my red Holiday Buggy.
  7. My post wasn't Rally releated :D but it is nice to know that RC Rally started in the Czech Rpublic. Because i have a czech name i have some connection to the Country. I know that the Malaysians have the Micro RC and Drift thin going. Does anyone know about the Chinese? There are a lot of chinese Clodbuster Hop Ups, but i NEVER see them. I only saw the Chassisextension a few times.....
  8. Hello, i wondered if any of you has contact to scenes of other Parts of the World. Most People here seem to be frum UK, Canada, USA and Australia and a hand full of People from Asia. But i have some Japanese Youtube recomondations that show awsome footage and superb Builds. Sadly i don`t understand Japanese.... ...also i can`t read the comments and i`m not shure if they would answer english comments. And i know that that Malaysia, the Phillipines, Japan, maybe Korea and other Countrys have a strong RC related scene - but i can`t search für Videos that are in Tangalog, Japanese, Malaysian or Filipino... And i think the "Rally" "Rallycross" scene in Poland is quite big. Are Polish People here? Are there other big scenes in Europe (France, Italy, Czech Republic, Skandinavia,....)? Also there are a LOT of these Chinese Upgrades for Tamiyacars, but i never see them in any builds exept on the Pictures of Aliexpress or Ebay. The only thing i see are these slick Tires for the Wild Willy or Lunchbox. I would love to see how few of that upgrades would perform. Here are 2 randomvideos that pop in my Youtube recomondations:
  9. Hello, i want to rebuild my Clod shocks because they are leaking. Also i want to fill my Lunchbox shocks with thinner oil. What would be an equivalent to Tamiya Red oil the thinnest of them all?? And what O Rings should i use? Tamiya Orange ones? (I have them at home, but there are transparent and blue O-rings TRF branded)
  10. I hope it works. There are some HBs that are painted: I have the Red version of the re re HB and would love to have that matte finish. Sadly my Shell has a Crack and i don`t find any glue that works....
  11. Hello, doeas anyone has some Small Arcades in their 1:10 Garage? I have a Tempest 1:6 miniature Arcademachine, but it is 1:6.... 1:6 is to big to look Scale nearby a 1:10 Car. But there are also these cheap tiny arcades, sadly i do not see if these are 1:10 or 1:12 or 1:14 ore something.... https://www.amazon.com/stores/TinyArcade/page/9FEC3503-C4D0-4A46-AF4A-9824F7EB7038?&linkCode=sl2&tag=e074d-20&linkId=a5618fa78fdcc34c2801517845437a8a&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl Doeas anyone of you collect them?
  12. So, i got my Car yesterday. Sadly the Color is not quite Astutish. It`s an metallic Red. I didn`t saw that on the Photos. The original Astute has a bright red Color. But i still think the Astute Stickers (that i already ordered) woluld look better than the Flames and Racingflag Design. So i will go for an metallic red Astute Tribute, do you think it would look ok, or do you think i should go another Way with it? Do you think i should paint the Windows with smoke Black? or with Black? or with no Paint at all? Do you think i have to get another Wing or is an Metallic Red Astute Tribute with the Dessert Gartor Wing ok? (Or a big NoGo?)
  13. You can't beat that DT-03 for its prie/value. I got a comical Hornet from Amazon in Simmer for i think 99 Euros.
  14. What Color do you want? I have black shocks from a Chromeclod and don't really need them.
  15. Is there a Thread for "ugly" Tamiyas? There are 2 Tamiyas i didn't like at first, but now i love 'em. Thats the Top Force and the Big Wig. The Egress, Mad Cap, Sonic Fighter, Saint Dragon, thunder Dragon and Fire Dragon, Dual Hunter an Vajera will probably never be exepted by me.
  16. I've looked at some Tamiyas from the Past and there are a lot of Sets that i think look ugly. But while Time goes by, the ugly Sets grow on me. When i see them often i find them less ugly at some Point. There are Sets that everyone love and i think they look messed up like the Mad Cap or the Manta Ray. I think the new Astute will also grow on me. I think it looks better than the Mad Cap.
  17. Hello, soon i will get an used DT-02 Dessert Gator. I think it will be in good shape, only the aluminum shocks look bad. i think CVAs would be better. I want to remove the Stickers an put Astute Stickers on it. Maybe i will spray the windows with that Smoke Gray or something.... I have a Set of black Rims from My red Holiday Buggy, that will fit the Astute look. I found 2 showroom Entrys that made Astutish Dessert Gators: https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=128633&id=8721 https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=127886&id=39840 AND a Video: There are 3 things that bother me: .) The Shocks: I would love to have yellow CVA Shocks .) The Cockpit: I don`t know how to feel about the cockpit. .) The Wing: the Dessert Gator Wong looks quite different than the Astute Wing. So i don`t know how to fix that, if i should put the Stickers on the Dessert Gator Wing or if i shoud buy a plastic Wing from China and sand it down till it looks a bit like the Astute one. https://www.ebay.at/itm/175000842236?hash=item28bedceffc:g:c2MAAOSw-KxhfUmu What do you think?
  18. I'm the type of member thar comes and goes. Either i come because of the winter - thats the time of the year where i dream a lot of the summer and how nice it would be to drive a Car and beginn to work on them to get 'em summerfit. In the Summer i think about other stuff and beeing busy not driving an RC. OR, i get a new car and post childish nonsense noob quesions while others beeing busy with good and super nice advice not caring about how dumb my questions are. While the weather is good and not having a new toy, i'm not very active in here. PS: In another forum we have the "missed User" Thread. There you can ask if anyone did hear about User XYZ.
  19. I mean in combination with an 12x5x4 Bearing on the inside like Nikko wrote: So you can put a 12x5x4 bearin into the Hex und on the outside you "press" a normal bearing. You have to chek that the outer Ring of the Braring is attached to the wheel somehow and that the inner Ring has a spacer to the Nut. So the wheel isn't totally supported by the Outer bearing like a 2wd wheel, but it has a bit of support and the nut will not rub against the wheel. Not the best option, but maybe worth trying.
  20. You could put a Ballbearing and a mini Washer on the axle, this would "work". But the Bearing will be exposed to Dirt and it would look a bit odd.... I think these Tires would also be a good "all terrain" tire, but on tarmac they will be bald very soon: I love the "baloony" look. Here you see the Carson ones in the front:
  21. Here you got Tarmac wheels, they don`t have that buggyish look, but for tarmac they seem to be a good option: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Carson-500900134-All-Terrain-2WD-Accessories/dp/B00U8HCTDQ/ref=sr_1_38?keywords=dt03+carson&qid=1636616499&qsid=257-1775177-7458745&sr=8-38&sres=B0018M96YA%2CB00T9WVMMA%2CB00T9X6B5C%2CB00TFWENGG%2CB00T9WXAIY%2CB00V2W2OHW%2CB00V2VT3UO%2CB00L97LEXU%2CB00I92DLI4%2CB00I92DJO0%2CB00I92DN3C%2CB00I92DLK2%2CB001RC1EF0%2CB08PVTHGQ6%2CB00I92DLFW%2CB00J5DBD54%2CB003R7JUPE%2CB08GYG8PGG%2CB00TFNH0HE%2CB079LTQV5V I use these Wheels on my DT02s and they perform good on tarmac and are very good "all Terrain" wheels. When i run them on my Backyard Track on Grass, they feel "too grippy". But they also do not have that classic Buggyish look: https://www.amazon.de/Carson-500900028-Felgen-Set-Terrain-Modellbauzubehör/dp/B0037YBBVS/ref=sr_1_9?__mk_de_DE=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&keywords=carson+2wd&qid=1636616719&qsid=259-3340849-4118739&sr=8-9&sres=B00U8HCTDQ%2CB00S6R3H2M%2CB06XJ5JC8V%2CB07C9KPL4T%2CB07BRW7L74%2CB00S6QTKVK%2CB00S6S4N38%2CB08WJ3LN3R%2CB0037YBBVS%2CB00Q70JK76%2CB00U8HSYF8%2CB084GXN6V3%2CB0034Z8C1C%2CB07V1H7K45%2CB0043RNGV6%2CB005UDQBX2%2CB08V99ZZ95%2CB084GY28GP%2CB07CFW5BCC%2CB01CYE0SOC&srpt=NON_RIDING_TOY_VEHICLE For my Holydaybuggy they work good and look good.
  22. So, yesterday i got my TBG Repro Body. I don`t know how i should do the Paintjob. I have Reprostickers at home and want to make it Boxart. At the rear you have the Rollcage, but it seems that no one does paint that Metalrods in silver or something.... they all paint it Black. I would love to see a reference with silver rods to see how it looks. Do you think i should paint the Rods silver and the rest of the rear in Black? Whats your opinion?
  23. Found it
  24. Toda i installed the Stabilizer Set. I used the soft red Wires instead of the blue ones. I think the rear Stabilizer sits way to loose. What Stabilizers do you use? Red or Blue?
  25. @Collin I ordered these nuts: https://www.mkracing.eu/team-associated-ft-radmuttern-m4-low-profile-schwarz-asc92254.html I will report if they will come loose without threadlock.
