Today iv'e fitted my Bigfoot shell on the Clod. Sadly it sits a bit lower in the Back because the Bodyposts are lower for the clods lowered bed.....

I tested on Tarmac, Grass and on a wet basketballcourt made out of small rubber Stones. On wet surface the Tires had no grip at all. But also on dry Tarmac you coudn't accalerate quickly because the Wheels would spin out. On Grass the car did get stuck all the time, because it hasn't 4wd and i have a fully open diff. Also i think it was very unstable in it,s steering. PS: i put my comment in the wron thread.....

Today i've tested all my Rallycars. I have to say that the TL01 gives the best expierence. The TL01 handles very good and has the best off Road usability with the mist ground cearence. The M05 Chassis was the worst..... Here are my rating: TL01 - best Off Road handling, good onroad handling TA02 Lancia 037 - Good onroad handling, but not enough groundclearence TT02 Audi quattro - It was "ok" M05 Renault r5 - bad.... unstable, no grip at all with the Rallyblocks, no accelleration because of the lack of grip, no offroad useability (groundclearence is goo btw) i couldn' drive straight and i couldn' turn. Maybe with harder shocks and ontroad tires it would be fun.

Thr Servohorn wasn't attached to the servo the right way. Between the servo and the first part of the Servohorn was a Spacer that would have to go to the outer End of the whole Servohorn. You have to put the little spacer on the screw and put it on the horn. It is a bit difgicult to explain.... But that is the danger of buyong 2nd hand. You should ever take the while model appart and reassamble

Today i stickered up my clod Body. I don't like the middle Stripe, but i still have some ford, bigfoot and firestone Logos. Where should i put them? Ps: i can not post Photos.... -
So, now i installed CVAs. I used 2 sets of the DT03 CVAs and installed the shorter ones. Ithink they are to long so i used the shorter Rodends and the lower mounts. But my Servo doesn't center. The Servo seems to be quite strong and fast. You can't turn it by Hand. The Servo doesn't get back into the neutral Position by it self but you can center it with the Transmitter, so i don't think the Servosaver is broken.... Is the Servo gone bad because i tried to turn it by Hand or is it the Radiogear that is bad? The Radio i use is a "drive and fly models RACE-X 2,4 GHz". Yesterday i did a Testrun without the CVAs and it did center by it self......

Yesterday my Rallycockpit for the Audi Quattro arrived. I have a Black interior for my Lancia Delta, the Lancia 037 and the Toyota celica. Now i wondered i shoukd try a grey interior to get some contrast. I thibk grey would fit the Audi Quattro. But i'm not shure about taking anorher route and have only 1 different cockpit.... Does anyone has a rallycockpit other than black?

How do they performe? On Tarmac i think they will work fine, but on Grass or Gravel i think they will have no Grip at all.

Can anyone tell me why i see a lot japanese Videos where People put a different Damperbridge in the Car to mount bigger shocks? When i put in the CVA Mini Shocks and cut away some Plastic from the Arms, the Rideheight seem to be at the maximum Height. Also the Chassis can easily be pushed down to "bottom out". Here are the CVA Minis: The Travel is limited by the Dogbones anyway.... Here are some bigger Dampers: I don`t see much difference.... And what is that Suspension Mod for? It`s a shame that my Japanese is so bad that i do not understand a single word..... It`s waaaaaaay worse than my english.

They were bought in a shop, i would recomend to take them to the shop for the Setup. If the Radiosystem is faulty they will exchange them for a working one. Maybe the charge of the Teansmitters are a bad patch.

The Kamtec Cover is on Ebay. https://www.ebay.at/itm/193760101206?hash=item2d1d008356:g:aDMAAOSw2d9fuP6e But it would cost me about 40 Euros... So i bought the cheapo fabric cover for abourt 15 Euros.... https://www.ebay.at/itm/353553417955?hash=item52516d06e3:g:XN4AAOSwLE1g2tt1

I think they would do the job. I found that picture on the Interweb and it is a simple soluzion made from some Plastic. But i don't know how to mount the Part that touches the chassis, so i testfitted the Cardboard with Some Tape. I think i will try the 3D Print Fenders.

Are you married? If not you could ask her if she wants to happy you.

Merry merry Christmas! I wish i would be down under. Did everyone saw "Die Hard" yet?

So i`ve ordered the fabric Cover, maybe it was a mistake and i rushed because of lack in research and patience.... But i found a nice idea for a Mudguard: This i ssimply made from the Plastic of a Binder. Did anyone tested the 3D Print Mudguards from Thingiverse? https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4567027 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4902601

I don`t know about their chassis, but they have super pretty bodies: https://www.therallylegends.net/products.php

Soon i will get my Audi Quattro TT02 and i want to get it "Rally ready" Does anyone uses these Dustcovers? https://www.ebay.at/itm/193760101206?hash=item2d1d008356:g:aDMAAOSw2d9fuP6e https://www.ebay.at/itm/353553417955?hash=item52516d06e3:g:XN4AAOSwLE1g2tt1 The first one would be way more sexy, but i would cost me 40 Bucks... the second one my will do the same job for about 15 Bucks I don`t know i i should buy the fabric dustcover..... Also i found some Mudguards on Thingiverse, does anyone use them? will they fit a Rallycar? The up/down movement of the Tires are bigger than on a Streetcar. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4902601 PS: I found a Video with "must have" Mods:

So, i put my Photos in here too. I installed 9mm hexes for the wheels in my Lancia and 8mm ones in the Toyota. It makes quite a difference, but i think i can use 10mm hexes on the Lancia, because the wheelnuts will allow 1 mm more, i think 11mm would be to much.
-
That`s a great idea! I run a stripe of ductTape underneath the Chassis to prevent dust coming in, but Plate would be perfect. I will install a Plate , but i will not make it from Metal, that would maybe to heavy.... I will make it from some Kind of Plastic, i think Carbon would be to expensive ^^ Maybe i can figure it out to make it from Plastic and put some kind of Fenders on it, from what i see fenders should be easy to install. Also i have to make and install any type of Foam Bumper at some Time..... ...i have to search on ebay for the right foam. @Mad Zero How did you attatched the Plate to the Chassis? Here is my TL-01 Buidthread: https://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?/topic/86548-tl-01-lancia-delta-integrale-build/&page=3

You can cut away some pladtic to get more suspensiontravel of a TT02... ....i will ser when i get it. The m05 isn'z verx good, it slided all over the place with the rally tires on wet Tarmac..... i will see how it performes on off road. But i think the tl02 is just fine, but i hope the TT02 will do better if it is modified. Edit: Thanks for your opinion, i hope my Ta Lancia 037 wasn't a bad opinion. Edit2: I hope i'm understandable, my english is very bad (better than my czech....) and i had a few glasses...

Is there a hidden Rally thread out there? It would be awesometo have a thread or subforums (Onroad, F1/Pancars, Buggys/Stadium, Rally Cars, Monstertruck, etc ...) that will be covering Rally Cars. The only Subforum that we have are for Monstertrucks & Wheelie Rigs ANd Scale Amour & Big Rigs. I´m soon owning 5 Rally Cars: TL-01 - Lancia Delta Integrale TL-01 - Toyota Celica GT 4 M 05Ra - Renault 5 Turbo (with wider rear track, but with FWD -yuck...) TA-02s - Lancia 037 TT-02 - Audi Quattro A2 (coming soon) What i`ve read all cars other than a XV01 are a Joke in tems of rallying What are your thoughts on the TL-01s, M-05Ras, TA02Ss and TT-02s? I think that the TL-01 is quite capable for off roading, the only donwnside is that little stones getting into the Chassis and between Chassis and the Battery.... I´ve not quite tested the TA-02s and the M 05Ra I´ve never drove a TT02, because i thought the Chassis is rubbish and isnt usable `for anything near off the road. I always thought the TA-02s will be a better offroader by 10 Times. I never will be the owner of an XV01, even knowing that is the perfect Rallychassis. But on the other Hand, i never will be racing on a Rallytrack, i just use the Cars on Tarmac and short Grass, gravel and similar surfaces for bashing or "Rallycross" Tracks. Now the wheels are a little bit wide because i putted in wider hexes and maybe will putting in hexes that are just 1mm wider on each wheel (that would be the maximum)
