  1. I'd love to see this. If you can do all that it's amazing! I don't think I'd have the coordination to control a remote controlled car and at the same time skate board behind it while simultaneously filming all the action. I'd end up doing a hard left with my skate board instead of the car and face planting into the concrete . Then again it'd be a good youtube fail video or something for you've been framed, not for me though :lol: . Doing all that off road takes it to a whole new level.

Sorry, i didn`mention that im not capable of multi tasking (i have dyslexia level 8 or something like that, so dont`even know where left or right is or where my foot is while i do something with my hands...).

I would someone other let drive the car and i would try to get good pictures of it in motion.

When we are done i give all the material to someone who is capable of editing or try it by myself.

Do you guys know what i would love to see?

A Re-Re promotional video of the rereleases in good quality!

There is a Frog Video out there with the original promo sound, if you would get all teh shots right (recreate them as good as possible) and make a shot for shot recreation of the old promo and keep the original sound (or get a nice voice, someone like Vincent Price, to recreate the original cheesy promo text).

    Edit:

Is Matteomeier a member of TC, he could give some serious tipps for filming.

  2. Hello,

I´ve found some carbonfiber tubes in my flat.

I don`t know where they are from but i want to use them for strenghten the thin steering rods in my Clodbutster.

Do anyone could recomend me how to cut These tubes?

Maybe tape the cutline before cutting?

    PS: I have no dremel....

  3. I use that charger only for discharging my batteries.

For charging I use the more modern voltcraft charge terminal 3000.

Sadly I have no instructionsheet of that charger so I don't quite understand how to use it as a quickcharger, in the past I used the "automatic charge" feature, but then a stickpack (3000 mah) needs 4 hours or somewhat for a charge.....

  4. Thanks kev!

I don't want to sell it, is would be work and I know I would regret it.

Besides I staret already to build it, now I'm stuck because tere is a part that I have to find, its the grasshopper gearbox pivot.... ....I thought I can use the lunchbox slotted pivot, but no, I have to get the grasshopper one :D.

  5. I,ve found all the parts.

Actually the screws are only called 2x8 mm screws #9805556, 2mm nuts #9804230.

So all parts that i use for the conversion are:

    the Brat rims #9005099

    the Brat tires #9400554

2x8 mm screws #9805556 (two bags)

    2mm nuts #9804230 (two bags)

and a mini CVA set (white) #84351

for the paint i either use some kind of white, orange/yellow or i try to make a Jurrassic Park Pajero, but as alwas i don`t think i`m skilled enough for that...

I`m already affrait to paint the original paintscheme and cutting the decals. The time i saw that the decals aren`t precut i thought i sell the model. (i have a very low frustration bar)

  6. The Terra Conquerro, Blazing Star, Dirt Thrasher and the Manta Ray share the same Chassis.

.) The Manta Ray & the Dirt Thrasher are exactly the same besides the Body.

.) The Blazing Star and the Terra Conquerro have other wheels and tires (BS hard "all Terrain tires, TC some Kind of grippers - the front ones narrow, the back ones wider)

.) The Terra Conqueroo has Black CVAs.

  7. It's good to know that shoe-goo works, but its also a product specially advertised for the skateboarding scene and so it also has an inflated price tag....

There must be an industrial product that's the same compound as shoe goo, but I'm very bad in chemistry, so I do not know anything about the ingredients.

The only thing I know is that we never used shoe goo for repairing our shoes, we used a hotglue stick and a lighter because it was much cheaper and more dureable. Only the rich kids used the goo and the shoes of them didn't hold a bit longer, but they did not care, they had the money for new shoes all the time....

The goo costed about 15,- to 20,- the good hotglue sticks costed about 1,- per stick.

One shoegoo tube lasted maybe 3 repairs, one hot gle stick lasted about 8 - 10 repairs...

The only advantage of the goo was that it was more elastic, but the difference was not as drastic...

But on the other hand, you can't fix lexan with hot glue and you do not need much shoe goo to fill tiny holes in a lexanbody,

so shoegoo is the product of choice for RC body repair :D

So i'll order a tube of that stuff for my King Cab!

    Thank you for that tipp!
