  1. Hi all, sorry about the weather, glad you all enjoyed yourselves. Spoke to both Chris and Moosey about a summer date in 2005 or maybe even this year (who's going to be brave enough to offer to organise it). How about a weekend in August, any one apart from weekend the 15th and 16th.

Special note for Ryan. Next time M8 the mic is yours OK.

Once again glad you all enjoyed yourselves.

  2. Sorry to be a worry guts. The problem is insurance. If by chance someone gets hurt by a car on the track, we that is Snetterton Park Model Car Club cannot be held responsible, and whilst I know that you are all mates etc some sort of claim may take place. What concerns me most is the "younger members" marshalling, if in their haste to retrieve an upturned car they get hit and hurt by another car it could have serious reprocussions, all I ask is please bear this in mind over the weekend.

  3. Right before everyone get to carried away, MUSIC over the PA is NO NO. Whoever is running things will have to seek me out to get the PA sorted anyway. I did offer my services months ago with regard to keeping things ticking over on the Sunday but if Minijosh wants to do it so be it. See you all next weekend, might even get into the Breckland Lodge on Friday nite if 'er indoors will let me out to play.

  4. Not to put a to finer point on it, you are very lucky to have mains for charging at an outdoor track, most expect you to bring a 12v to charge from. Yes there are 2 portacabins with mains, But bring a table to work off of and something to sit on, and plenty of warm clothing, Snett. get "B" cold at this time of year.

  5. Blazerfrazer, good idea. It's already used at IC Nationals where everyone just writes their name on a peg. The Snett pegs are easily seen and if a simple wooden peg was put in place of our normal one when being used it would be obvious which were away from the board. All it requires is a load of wooden pegs and a Biro.

  6. Yes, the off road track is still unfinished. Weather permitting I'll try and get the grass cut, but it is usuable. Please remember that Snetterton is primarily an on-road track, the off road is there only for a bit of fun. I'm hoping this year to finally get it finished, again time and weather permitting.

  7. Guys. Snetterton run a peg board system. Each 27MHz & 40Mhz frequency has been allocated a peg with a label attached. When you want to use a particular frequency check the board if the peg is missing its being used. WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN IS THAT AFTER EACH RUN THE PERSON USING THE PEG RETURNS IT TO THE PEG BOARD SO ANOTHER PERSON CAN USE IT. The system does work but if people wander off with the peg and don't return it the whole system gets screwed up. It's up to you guys on the day to keep the system running smoothly.
