I've recently acquired a TA03R-S in an auction, but really just wanted the body shell. Now you can have the rest. The tires are shot from sitting (splits). Price is negotiable, but please no less than $50USD. Here's a pic: and the bottom:

Wow thank you, you're build is awesome. And I have no interest in building a drift car that doesn't accept a gen3 RX7 in front-engine config! That's one of my favorite drift cars.
-
How did the TA03F drift car go? I have a TA03R-S that I was thinking of selling or mayyybe converting to a standard F drift car.

Adjustable crescent wrench. SAE hex drivers for when metric ones are stripped... and working on my one Associated buggy. and LOL at soldiering. I was prepping my old ECX truck to send to my family in Kenya... had to switch it to Horizon plugs... soldier? nope. crimp connectors. more reliable.

Sensored Brushless Motors with wires pre-soldered?

The Star Plugs didn't really satisfy my qualms with deans. I'm going straight deans with the Maxx Products coupler. Finally something that makes sense. -

I have some of the Star Plugs, but haven't converted anything. http://www.rcstarplug.com/ This may be an even better option. http://r.ebay.com/9S32SJ Why on earth doesn't someone make a deans/T plug with a crimp on the wire side? Look what i found just now: http://www.maxxprod.com/mpi/mpi-5.html#2818 I'm ordering. -
This is cool. My workplace will have me using one for product prototypes soon! Is SolidWorks the ticket for designing? Currently I'm only expert level in SketchUp.

Southwest Florida. Naples specifically. Very little Tamiya around here, mostly concentrated in Miami. Always open to meet up, I know many great on-road bashing spots as well as some off-road.

Tamiya Chassis Lipo compatibility

Love seeing all of the creativity in fitting batteries here. I remember when I bought my HPI Cup Racer people said- nice car but you can't put a standard 2S in it.... that's why they didn't sell. That's close-minded, i've been running undersized packs (lighter=faster) and round-cell shaped packs in it to much joy. I'm fond of the Reedy WolfPack 751 for emulating round-cell packs. I've run it in my Cup Racer, XRay T1 and soon my TA05, M04, etc. -

I bought one of these recently, it helps a lot. I don't like soldering deans connectors especially. No physical connection... all tinning. But i like the plug style. As stated above, Speed Passion come pre-soldiered and are reasonable in cost. I have 4 SP motors because of this!!! -
I got this in the mail last month. Now it sits at work atop a modified TA05. Obviously it's vintage. It's my runner body. I have a NOS one too.

Thanks, it looks like I've found the one I want on eBay again (trusted seller that I bought my chassis only TT02 from, good guy).

Wanted: Active Hobby A210SS w/ Lotus Exige shell
firefoxussr replied to firefoxussr's topic in Trade Archive
It's a perfect m-chassis shell. If I find multiple, yes you're counted in. If i do find one, I'm intending to make duplicate shells for play. Also the chassis itself is more common- it was rebranded as the Ofna JL12e. Congrats to your dad too, it's a sweet car. I hope to one day own a V6 Exige. What a perfect trackday car.- 3 replies

Thanks for the offer and PMs Darat. Looking for something a little closer to the US for shipping cost considerations.

Finally painted and applied most of the decals to my F1 car. Now i need to paint it's wings. Oh and install the driver's head. You drive your F1 car once in public without a head and everyone has to comment....
-
Maybe, maybe not. I'm in the US. Does the low ride version differ dramatically from the regular m06?
-
I'm looking for one of these. Especially the shell. If you have one unbuilt that is perfect. If you have just the shell and it's still recognizable, I'd like to buy it in any condition. If you have just the chassis, I might even buy that. I really love this car. Thanks Gary.

Brushless, ESC and LiPo #confused
firefoxussr replied to Problemchild's topic in General discussions
I would say with a chassis as unsophisticated as a TT02... you need 3S, bearings, glued tires, a really good servo and a steady hand/surface. I've ran 3S on my TT02 and it was a handful (and this was with extra wide tires). Expect things to break. -
Curious if anyone has an M06 chassis they would like to part with. I've already ordered/have the body, wheels, electronics that I want for this build.
-
I have a complete TA03R-S and body, but no box. I'd really like one if you have a spare or just don't want it.

WANTED: Lancia 037 Rally M parts (side scoops)
firefoxussr replied to Truck Norris's topic in Trade Archive
I have a second one that I don't plan on using. Send me a PM. -
Drove the XV on a semi paved surface. Having a great time. Love seeing the motor hanging out. And then I found a 1/10th scale boulder and the car rolled 45° airborne before doing a spectacular end over end tumble. Interestigly, it appears no mechanical damage but it did eject a hinge pin and driveshaft. I recovered the hinge pin but not the driveshaft. Parts are on order, can hardly wait to drive it again!
-
It's raining so much that I shouldn't even drive it! But here it is sitting on the floor of my car ready to play as soon as it's shining outside:

Finally ran my XV01, Hands down the best Tamiya I've owned for empty parking garage bashing. So much fun for controllable powerslides/drifts/etc. The front engine, suspension, and weight all seem to contribute. Its power system is lifted from my TT02 build from last year (2s, 3600kv), which was scary to drive with 3s and manageable yet still unpredictable with 2s (lift-off oversteer). Body is still WIP. Body came in black (used purchase on eBay), i think it suits the Integrale.

Credit Card Breaches at TamiyaUSA.com???
firefoxussr replied to speedy_w_beans's topic in Related sites
The only thing I ever bought was a Lancia 037 re-re body. But that was like 2013.... Think the card it was on was one I closed a while ago. Also FWIW... I use PayPal for any online purchase if allowed. I like the idea of another hoop to jump through before you can get my CC#. Adam:
