  1. Not sure if it is really rare, but I haven't seen too many pop up. My NIB Rough Rider body set would have to be mine.
  2. Hi all, I'm after a new in box Nova Fox. Let me know what you have. Any leads are also appreciated. Thanks for your time, The Smoothee. 😃
  3. Would have been nice to have it licenced. Regardless, I'm gettin me one. Still looks pretty Blackfooty to me. Thanks Mr T.
  4. 3-4-2-1. For me. I think maybe we should ease up a little. These are far from finished, and I'm pretty sure we're just looking for attitudes and angles of presentation at the moment. Have faith in the artist, there is absolutely no mistaking his ability. The dudes got skills.
  5. Skills on show! Nice body work man, impressive. Great build thread, keep the shots coming. It's contributions like this that make the site great. Thanks for taking the time.
  6. The 80's Lancia Rally would be cool to see. I'd also like to the XLT ranger make an appearance, and the Hotshot II would be rad as well. Bring it on Mr T!
  7. I think they might get it licensed so they can pull off the Ranger XLT body also. Kill two birds with one stone so to speak. Time will tell, looking forward to some pics of this one.
  8. The RC10 drawing is insanely cool. Paul's work is amazing! Late but my three are :- Sand Scorcher Grasshopper Frog. I seriously can't believe the frog didn't make the top three. So many units sold, and such a legend. Keep us posted on progress. I'd buy coffe mugs etc that had Paul's work printed on them without hesitation.
  9. Sorry to hear of your loss, I think you should keep her. Got any pics for us to drool over?
  10. G'day RMR, As mentioned already above, super cool username. Synonymous with the Rough Rider for sure. One of the box art pictures I have stared at for hours is that of the Rough Rider. I love how the artist has captured the Sand Blaster Jr's, and all the sponsor decals on the buggy. It just looks so right, so off-road. I think I was just as excited as you to see it being unwrapped from the tissue paper. Great pictures and great detailed writings to go with them. Thanks for taking the time to share. The vid looks like you were having fun too. I hope you and your son share heaps of battery's together over the coming years. No doubt the next generation has been hooked already, such is the allure of R/C. Top post mate, lookin forward to reading and seeing more.
  11. Just when I seemed to be getting on top of the re re's, lol. Sensational news! I think it will be very true to the original with dog bones and decals being the differencs. Now Mr T, you know we have all spent heaps buying re re Brats and Frogs, and we all have some originals lying around too. Now with the rad news of the Monster approaching, it's definitely time for you and your team to engineer a ball diff for this box. Wallets are open world wide for multiple purchases per customer.....Get to it bro. Thanks, THE SMOOTHEE.
  12. Would be cool to see more Beetle goodness from Tamiya. It'd lighten my wallet for sure. Let us wait in anticipation.
  13. For me it's now a bit of a relief to have what in my mind, are all the "classic" re re versions. It was getting hard to keep up for a while. Only a Nova Fox and a Super Hot Shot to go with what's currently out there. Although I do want a F.A.V. Shark Mouth too. Is this a new model in its own right being a different box art, paint and decals? Anyhow, I have a mix of NIB originals that just get drooled on, and the re releases which will be built and run with my kids for fun. And to be honest, there's still a few more I want. Hilux, Bigwig, 959, Blackfoot and the Monster Beetle would probably round it out for me. Oh I'd snap up a Hot Shot 2 in a second also. There is still quite a few to go, but I like the recent break from the older models as its given me the opportunity to regroup some cash. As for eBay, last week I priced an order from RC Mart for a re re Wild One and a Black Edition Grasshopper. Very much to my surprise, it was cheaper for me to go through their eBay store than it was to purchase direct from their website. Thanks Mr T for what you have brought us so far, and I'm looking forward to more old school rides in the future. Bring it on my man, bring it on.
  14. Super hard to put a value on custom work, which this Scorcher has in bucket loads. I think it comes down to what your time is worth, plus the cost of materials, and the running of machines. Only you Neil can put a price on the above... How much titanium did you go through before you got those bends perfect on that rear bumper? How many hours were spent designing and then writing the program to mill that battery mount? How much time have you spent spinning up hinge pins in the lathe? Custom work is hard to price. Some people just don't get it. Then there are those that do and will pay accordingly. Personally I would buy some of the pieces you have made immediately if given the opportunity. Another option is to put in the market and let the bidders decide. Keep the progess shots and info comin as time allows, this is most impressive.
  15. I so wish I had what your after. Any progress bro?
  16. Looks nice indeed. Thanks for postin up some shots of your finished build. Lookin forward to the arrival of mine soon. Cool to see Frank Evans still behind the wheel after all these years.
  17. Man this is rad. Lovin the work you've done here. My feedback for you would be :- Make your parts available for me to buy. The ball raced, titanium shafted front end setup is killer! Keep it comin!
  18. Once a jolly swagman camped by a billabong. Hi p-47, I'm from Brisbane. Welcome, it's a great source for all things Tamiya here, and other stuff too. I don't a have a hauler, just pulled up to say g'day. I'm sure someone will help soon though. Cheers, Rick.
  19. ^+1 That looks pretty rad. A must have for sure for me. I'll take two please Mr T, one runner and one for the collection.
  20. I'm gonna be all over this Black Edition Grasshopper like a hobo on a ham samich. We need pics!
  21. I've heard enough, it's time for you to get another g/f. Maybe Santa will bring you one along with the Novafox. If you've been good she will be a new and improved model, like a TRF limited edition version g/f. One that brings you plates of snacks and tops up you beverage while you play that new PS4 into the early hours on the morning. She will also take pics of your cars as you assemble them, then add those pics to a build thread and post it up here for us all to read and enjoy. She will also have a job and selflessly contribute ongoing funds to cure your hop-up disorder. This is starting to make me wanna be good.
  22. Hi and welcome to the site. I too am in Australia, and have experience with most of the traders mentioned above with regards to ordering kits. I have found RC Mart, Stellamodels and Banzai to all be very good in getting a kit safely Down Under. Stella pack the best, Banzai are usually the cheapest but as mentioned kits have no ESC, and RC Mart is a good all rounder. I'd also put RC Mushroom into the good all rounder category. You won't have any trouble with these no matter which you choose. As you have mentioned it can pay to buy where you can get all ya stuff in one place, saving a little on shipping. P.S. Welcome back to all things RC. Such a rad hobby.
  23. Get your build on to this..... Your welcome. 😀
