I had the D4 and tho it is really cheap I wasn't super happy about it. It was the RWD version mind you so you would absolutely need a gyro if you are getting that version. I think that it does require some $$$ to get it where you'd want to be. Quality of plastics were fine, some pieces better than others. TT02D is probably best bet for ease of use and fun factor without frustration.

Finished up my Bigwig today (well, nothing is ever really "finished" I guess). I think this has to be one of my most favourite vintage buggies from Tamiya. I love the detail possibilities it allows for. I did paint the valve covers on the engine and I added some spark plug wires using old stereo wiring. Opted for some Hotshot rims instead of the Moon Craft dish wheels. I think it gives a nice touch. Enjoy!

Best bet would be to measure eye to eye of the stock dampers. I haven't built my top force yet, otherwise I would measure them for you. If they are within a few millimetres within the specifications of the dampers in that link, then yes they will definitely work.

Great alternate color choice! Decals work well with it too!

Looks awesome so far, can't wait to see the final product. What rims are you using for this build, they look wicked and would like to grab a set for a project of mine.

Yes sometimes Tamiya does this. I cannot recall if my Alfa came to me with pre cut wheel wheels. But I would assume they only do it to bodies that have delicate fenders, to prevent user error. Either way it's a nice treat to find out you have perfectly cut wheel wells!

Finished up the Ferrari F12tdf body today. 80 decals!! But I gotta say, the detail on this Ferrari body is amazing, probably the best 10th scale Ferrari body out there. I also finished my driver cockpit for this body, always lots of fun to paint up the interior. Completes the body in my opinion. Now I'm just waiting on some tires and rear axles from rcMart to finish the chassis and I'll be able to run it better pictures are on the way!

I was just looking at different types of paint only the other day and I noticed that "lame flake" I'd never heard of it before and I thought it was a typing error but it does look very good even in the photos!......... The finished buggy will have to be shown of course?
Thanks! It's a difficult color to photograph at times. Definitely will be shown

It's a handsome looking buggy and I (back in the day) couldn't afford the Bigwig so I went for the boomerang which was brilliant and I raced it to death! But looking at your build is persuading me "yeah why not!"
Thank you! To further entice you- the black has a base layer of "Lamé flake" aswell. Looks absolutely brilliant on the Bigwig (even more so in person)
I finished the dampers today... they are smooth as fluorine. I'm waiting on some different rims though as I'm passing on the Moon Craft dish wheels. So for now, Bigwig must wait... But my next project will keep me busy until then!

I have one on pre order with Stella, I already have 2 and an Evo, but they are my favourite so I guess you cannot have too many....
They were already released in Canada, but if you mean an exact World Wide Release I haven't read any official news anywhere. eBay already has two f/s!

I wonder if thats true that the TF's are being held hostage in warehouses until the official date lol..

Saw this too, I hope it gets a worldwide release and not only Japan. Would love to grab a replica of one of the most unique F1 cars ever made.

Yes, seems to be an interesting trend indeed. I also have seen the TT02 Ferrari F12TDF available here to puchase

Any of you waiting, don’t pay into scalpers or these ridiculous rates. I just paid 360 CAD tax in for my kit at my LHS.
