How is your manta ray coming on ? Post some more pics. I have one,I love it. It has had a few upgrades over the years.you,ve inspired me to have another look at it.

I've just found my old frog.. It is a complete mess but I love and can remember it in its prime...I think I'm gonna restore it.

Well my motor is very old now. 20 + years maybe. Seems fairly fast still. But my younger brother and nephew have caught the rc bug and its rekindled my interest.i have a manta ray with a few upgrades from 20+ years ago.still going strong.they have tl01's.(got those wheels.nice.still waiting for hex's) thanks)) ones got a tamiya sport tuned 23t seems really fast,the other has got a tamiya dirt tuned,again very nippy if not quite as fast but makes mine seem a bit old and sluggish off the mark.I don't really know much about motors and battery's. is it a toss up between top speed and acceleration, less turns means higher top speed ??

Firstly sorry if I sound like an idiot... I have an lrp quad wound motor 17 x 4. Does that mean its a 17 turn motor ? And won't Work with a 20 turn limit esc ? What are the different amounts of turns ?what's good for what?...hmmmm

Thanks.ive just got back into my rc cars after quite while. I bought a new ni mh battery( quite cheap I must admitt)it's 4600 .but it's not near as good as my old 2400 ni cad battery. Is it just cheap rubbish ,I suppose you get what you pay for ,as with everything else.

What is a good ni mh battery make?...is it,the higher the number the longer the run time?
