  1. Loved my Lunchbox, wish I never would have sold it. I had a ton of Tamiya's but back when Ebay first started I decided to unload everything. I cringe when I see something that I should have kept, LOL. I was going to purchase an old one but for around $100 you really can't go wrong with a new one. Good luck
  2. I bet they would probably work or burn up...lol.
  3. Looking great! How do you get the plastics so shiny or are they just in that great of shape?
  4. Oh ok, I think I remember seeing the other models in another thread. That was one awesome find, did any of those batteries still keep a charge? I have missed so many Bruisers over the years, now that I'm looking they cost so darn much , lol. I had a Juggernaut for one day, was bored so Ebayed it, LOL. This was a few years ago before they were collectable.
  5. One of my favorite models, is this an Ebay find? Does Easyoff work better than brake fluid?
  6. Nice score, my buddy ended up with three Tamiya's from the Goodwill. One was a 959, complete with body that we ended up Ebaying for $150 (I should have bought it). I have to say one thing, for an older model those suckers were fast. Good luck on the build.
  7. Do you have any other transmitters you can use. I would find someone with another Futaba TX, swap crystals and see what happens. Make sure that the servos are correct for the receiver and that they are wired correctly.
  8. Congrats on picking up a nice Blackfoot. I had purchased one new when I was about 14 and still have it. I think if you have matching crystals and still nothing then you either have a bad receiver or your servos are dead. Make sure you have the correct crystals in the proper places. Transmitter and receivers are different crystals. Just because they are the same channel doesn't make them interchangeable.
