Big Brute Tire and Wheel Options?
RcMadness74 replied to Snaab9-2's topic in Monster Trucks, 4x4, Wheelie Rigs and Crawlers
Here are a pair off Fleabay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kyosho-Double-Dare-Hi-Rider-Big-Boss-Tires-/121629599664?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c51b067b0 There is a used set on there also but they are pretty beat. Good luck -
I had one a couple years ago but got ride of it. They are very interesting, good luck trying to hunt one down that isn't beat or broken.

Anyone try tossing the bits into the dishwasher? Not sure how hot it gets or if the ABS would suffer.

Is this the same as Glycerol? I just checked and the motor is missing, I bet it was something good, looks like it was freshly removed.

I have been looking for a Boomerang that wasn't going to break the bank and finally found what I was looking for. The body is in pristine shape, no paint, just stickers were applied. The car itself only has two parts that are broken, one on the rear bumper guard and a screw may be broken off in the front bumper. I have not tested it but by the looks of it this car was only run once or twice. The battery pack has been tucked in there for awhile, the wires have became very stiff. The tires are also not split but very hard. I will update with close up pictures as time allows.

Great looking body on that Willy. The open gas tank still kills me on these, lol. -

Too cool, I was reading all these posts trying to figure out why someone would resurrect something from 08, lol. -
Looking great, loving the looks of these more and more. Reminds me of the one that I found in a lot that I acquired off Ebay. This was years ago, I had no clue what it was, re listed and was quickly purchased BIN for $50, lol. Live and learn.

Too funny, I'm reading this thread and thinking I wonder if he glued the tyres...lol. Then I read your post, too funny. Love this and the pumpkin, did you add the extra shock on the rear also?
-
Not Tamiya related but...cracked the front crankcase on the Revo a couple years ago. Gave the truck to my son (16 now), purchased the parts and told him to fix it. He tore it down last year and put it together this year...yeah, seems to be a few parts missing, LOL. I found the exploded view online and helped him with some of the assembly but noticed that the front anodized steal support is missing. He's learning, waiting on UPS now, lol.

Great looking job on the Falcon. I remember trading for one when I was 14, that sucker was fast back in the day. The only problem I had was the front suspension separating at the frame...lol. I'm sure this had nothing to do with the jumps I would take this sucker off of before I new how to service the shocks.

I was fascinated with these when I was younger but the price tag always kept me from purchasing. Still love the look of these and will probably acquire one soon. Great looking threesome you have there!
