Saw it earlier, thought it was a fake, but that's probably down to the dodgy drawing where the wheels seem in different planes.
-
Wheels spinning inside the tyres is the first thing to check, that's usually what it is.

Today I realised that I spend all week dreaming up ideas and getting excited about stuff, and all weekend failing to achieve anything and depressing myself with my lack of patience and skill.

I always test the electrics first as per the instructions, though the servo always seems centered straight out of the box anyway. Never heard of the servo tester but just ordered one, ta.

Hmm, didn't notice that, fair enough.

A tube of model filler, for sorting out the butchered Pumpkin shell this weekend.

Midnight Pumpkin Correct and Functional Tail Lights. Finally

Yeah, I've got an old tailgate from my original MP with the FORD logo on, where both taillights snapped off years ago. I'll work it out, ta. -
So you don't want to take it seriously but you still want to be competitive ? I don't think you're gonna find an environment that balances those two requirements. Apart from this :

Yeah, I know this is an old thread, but I realised at the weekend that the Lowride Pumpkin kit includes the 4 standard Midnight Pumpkin body mounts but they're not used in the build. So anyone wanting new MP mounts needs to chat up a LP owner.

Have you got a picture of the inside of a tailgate modified for these ? Just slicing the old taillights off isn't enough is it ? -
Should be of interest to a few people on here...

Seems a bit early to be Pumpkin carving, but there you go.

Completed my first build..

Argh ! Keep opening this thread only to realise it's not a Monster Truck, Wheelie, Crawler etc. #hatebuggies -
Cut out my third lexan shell in 25 years today. Hope it's my last. I would rather perform my own vasectomy with a rusty spoon than cut out another hateful polycarbonate nightmare.

Just superglued two fingers together.

I've got one of those CORE systems, it's my first 2.4Ghz setup. Works fine. I've got 3 extra receivers so I can use the same transmitter with my other cars.

2017 best year yet for re-re's ?

There's no Tamiya kit of it unfortunately, this is the nearest I've got :

I use them. Nowhere near as much as I should, but it does them good to be ridden I think. Having them increase in value is a nice spin-off benefit but it's not why I buy them, I just like having stuff that hardly anyone else has. My 750RK is quite tatty close-up, I'd like it to be mint but then I'd probably ride it less. It's a proper one though. Team Classic Suzuki borrowed it for their display at Stafford last October, where it sat alongside Barry's RG500 and Kenny Jr's RGV500.

By the way, I used to have a black TDR250 in the late 80's. I parked up outside a shop once and when I came out a bunch of little kids thought I was Street Hawk. I pulled a wheelie away from the shops but the backflip was beyond me...

I remember seeing a brand-new 750 pop-up in my local Suzuki dealer back in the early 80's, I knew they weren't a mainstream model but I didn't know the story about why. Thanks for that. Your bike looks ace. As iconic as the 'normal' non-popup Katanas are, I think they've dated quite badly, although fitting different wheels and exhausts makes a huge difference. You'll love your M1. My mate let me out on his and I much preferred it to his OW01.

There's a lot of stupid prices being asked lately but there are still proper bikes at sensible money out there. We put this together at Stafford Show a few years ago :

Love the 750 pop-up. Got a garage full of rare JDM bikes but I could find space for one of those.

Today I planned to cut, mask and paint my Unimog bodyshell. But I couldn't face it. God I hate lexan shells.

I move 1's and 0's around for a couple of serious clients. If I say any more there'll be a black helicopter landing outside shortly...
