  1. Had a bit of a tidy-up/stocktake.
  2. I'm only just getting back into the hobby and your great service has helped make it easy and fun. Thanks for that, and sincere best wishes for your health.
  3. Video's very nicely done. Bonus Style Points to the Lunchbox wheelieing over the line at 6:03.
  4. Got sick of waiting for UK stock. Ordered one direct from the International Warehouse. 7 days delivery, no customs charge, same price (more or less).
  5. Not the 20p, that's just for scale. Got sick of waiting for the UK Warehouse (if indeed it actually exists) to get some in so ordered it direct from HK. 7 days delivery and no customs charge.
  6. I'm not criticising scratch-builders here. But are you all moulding your own tyres, winding your own springs and turning your own nuts and bolts ? Are you mining your own ore and then smelting your own aluminium and steel ? Scratch-building your own batteries, motors and receivers ? Some probably are, and my admiration is unbounded. Plenty of others are adapting, modifying and customising one-off stuff with great imagination and skill. But some people can only handle a kit with all the components supplied and Tamiya-quality instructions provided. And some people can't even do that, and just need to buy something RTR off the shelf. There's a place for everyone I would have thought.
  7. Looks ace just like this ! Get it sorted mechanically but leave the body completely untouched, dirt and all.
  8. I went to rcmodelshopdirect to see the 1:14 truck meet. Bought a set of bearings and a servo. Oh, and a new kit to fit them to.
  9. After all, they did it with Kitty...
  10. <grabs credit card to place immediate pre-order...>
  11. I definitely approve of this sort of thing. More please Tamiya-san.
  12. Yes Grastens, I can't stop thinking about a Lancia Rally. I've let a few slip through my grasp* so I'm going to cheat. A perfect reproduction isn't important, all that matters to me is capturing the same cartoon-ish stance. Any tips on where to find some suitable wheels ? * but I'd still buy one if anyone's selling.
  13. Might have to rethink mine now then. I've got some ideas.
  14. Collected it this morning. Here it is. So guess I need to order a Brat kit now...
  15. There's a Simpsons House kit upstairs, my missus is saving it for a rainy day. There was a knock at the door yesterday while she was out, and the postman handed over a massive box. It's the new Kwik-E-Mart kit. D'oh!
  16. A card, telling me he'd tried to deliver my next project this morning while I was out. Doh !
  17. It's a new box wrench in a huge amount of bubble wrap.
  18. FFS.
  19. Great post. I bought a KingCab last year, don't know how I never bought one the first time around. Mine's got a ***** shell but I still love it. It came with some spares too but I'm not sure what I've got.
  20. Kitty's head is just a plastic box that had some sweets in it. Can't remember where it came from.
  21. Google, can't remember where I found it but it didn't take long. Was actually looking for the Lunchbox one, which was there too.
  22. I downloaded the WW2 decal sheet, reworked the logo in something a long way removed from Photoshop, then printed it onto decal sheet using the laser printer at work.
  23. I finally got bored of playing with my Willy...
