  1. Yeah I've heard of sanding down originals too, but isn't it a bit hit and miss if they turn out flat or not????
  2. Hi there Can anyone tell me if the Dyna Storm Diff Plates / Rings (BH7) are just for the Dyna Storm or are they a generic diff ring/plate, as used in other Tamiya Ball Diffs, as I'm struggling to find original Dyna Storm parts??? Cheers
  3. Evening, I heard a rumour that it could be worth changing the out the Alloy Idlers gears and alloy gear off the main spur for the plastic ones as per Tamiya Item 50529 - 4WD Touring and Rally Car Plastic Gear set, is it really necessary??? yours thoughts please...............
  4. Hi mate, as regards the Manta Ray............. Whereabouts in the world are you?! (so I know weather collection is an option or not) Would you sell it without TX and RX, as we use steering wheel radio's so a sticks set up would just lie around in the garage! Do you have figure in mind what it owes you? Cheers Paul.
  5. If like me, somebody wants a set of these, found them on ebay from a seller in Hong Kong called RCWorld,
  6. No I didn't ask for it John. So you Deremed'd your Lipo to fit the car,???? or did dremel top brace mount near to the motor??? Was hoping to run mine at Cov next weekend, but my Brushless system turned out to be faulty 'out of the box', now I've the hassel of returning it and waiting for a new one THATS if they'll change it under warranty!!!!!
  7. Does it matter that the mounting hole for the tie rod is on the top as opposed to the side as per kit hubs???? And YES, they do have to be silver as I've got the Knuckles in silver and would like the Hubs to match!!!
  8. Nice pic Snappy! I wasn't haven't a go about people jumping on the 'well you pay for what get' band wagon, it's just that I've always used HK's brushless combo's, they have always been reliable, up to today
  9. There are some clubs, in the UK, that run 'vintage' classes over the summer and Winter, the cars have to be under a certain age, 2 or 4wd, but the rules regarding batteries, motors and esc's are relaxed. Looks like it was faulty out of the box, HobbyKing X-Car 60A Brushless Combo, AND BEFORE you go slagging em off, this was my fourth set from them, my other 3 'set up's' (all 60A combo's) have been fine with no problems!!!!!
  10. Ha very funny Max I dont believe in 'shelf queen's' cos if you spend that much on a Toy Car you want some return in 'enjoyment' As regards the brushless set up.... well it WAS going to be an 8.5t sensorless (with a 'reduced' initial acceleration' setting!!!) , it was delivered yesterday, and propmtly packed up today when it was switched on for the first time, and NO i'm not a novice with brushless set up's!!!.
  11. Can any one help with these please..... Top Force Alloy C-Hubs 'Asia Tees' are Out of Stock, 'RC Mart' are Out of Stock, can't find much on eBay either Just wondered if anyone might have some spare in a pit box, un-used???? ......a long shot I know Cheers Paul
