I was given a very sad looking dt01 last weekend and would like to make it good again , it is missing a few bits and maybe someone has them. I need Motor cover Servo saver Metal steering linkage Battery door clip Wheels hexes, these are splined like the madcap. After that it's pretty much needing wheels and tires and a body and decals . If anyone has these bits hit me up.☺

Should be sweet then , if the budget allows id suggest a set of front uni joints, I've got a few sets of the yeah racing unis in different cars and they work great

If it hasn't been done already i would grab a ta02 gearset and replace the alloy gears inside the rear gearbox , they won't last 5 minutes with bl power

I have a fair bit of 2nd hand of bits , i have the shafts some where and have a few good a1 bits can't help with the hinge pins unfortunately

Thanks for tips max , i have dug through my boxes of stuff and found a set of unis that came off my supershot , they aren't new but ill give them a go and see how long they last. For some reason this car has vintage cups and gearboxes but a new chassis , it came with a rere hotshot prop so that is in there too. I'll have to get some pics up soon , just waiting on rear wheels atm

I totally agree with the use of universal shafts , however the driveline in this car is quite new and would rather just update the front for now , and depending on how much I use it I will change the rears Is there not a uni that can use the boomer cups?, just trying to keep costs down lol

I'm in the middle of building a runner boomer and would like to add some front uni shafts , its currently using the larger vtg cups and dogbones , is there a uni shaft that is a direct fit to this like maybe the df02? Also what would be the better uni to look at , should a go with tamiya unis or 3rd party?

Just waiting on a few bits to show up and need to order a body , it should be ready for a shake down mid next week

39mm is for the front , the rear bones are shorter , they have the plastic ends. I have both if you want/need

Haha Not anymore I usually like to run down at sth Guildford but being so time poor these days I haven't had anything out since early January, even that was just locally with the 8ight 2.0 through one of the new sub divisions. There are a few decent ovals around ellenbrook way , 1 has a decent park so i can take the kid and i can play too lol

I never thought to try tt01 cups and bones lol Those bones you have are the crp upgraded ones. With regards to front shocks they will need to be soft/light oil as these cars are so light

I had issues with binding but i wanted to use the crp dogbones I had and thought it was them causing it , seems it may be a casting issue with the plastic cup , small file did the job . I have spare bones and cup plus a few sets of the crp bones if you want/Need them.

I have a used set , ill have to dig them out. I had issues with my sonic fighter , seems though the dogbone wont go fully into the cup and caused binding. Btw I believe the cups are the same , the 2mm shaft should come out.
