I will have a pair I am sure. Let me look later

The bigger is I will need one on my TRX soon as well ðŸ˜

I think the covering is just left over flux. You could do with so de-soldering mesh to soak up the old solder. Go from underneath with a little solder on your iron, this helps spread the heat. Once it goes liquid then pull out the wire and leave to cool before you do the rest and de-Solder.

Thanks. They look like they could run on a 1:1 and for that price I should hope so. Makes the £12 for a metal gear look cheaper than I thought😂

Motor wires should be an easy job with the right iron. I looked at the LiPO cut off but battery alarms are so cheap it did not seem worth the risk

Another DT-03 wheel and tyre thread... rock crawler tyres?
Nobbi1977 replied to 4stroker's topic in General discussions
I have run Blitzer wheels and WR02 wheels on mine and love the monster look and drive. aqroshot comes with them fitted as stock. To run 4wd tyres you would need to run different front uprights. TL01 ones might do it but the front track would be a bit wider -
The mounts just the screw from the bottom rectangle type?

Reinforced WT-01 driveshaft? Also body mounts for it.

I have never broken a drive shaft on one of these and I though I was rough. Are they to tight and binding on full compression? I seem to remember the DT-02 universals will fit but I would have to check. -
So my Wraith has eaten it's servo. Says metal gears and most are. The one plastic one is dead. A guy in America does a metal alternative but at £12 I am thinking a new servo might be better. This truck is used for about 3 miles daily at the moment, bashing most of the way. What do the hive mind recommend? UK please.

Still got these if anyone is in need

So in these very odd times I am feeling a little helpless. I am a key worker in that I work in education so we are providing childcare for other key workers and trying to run a virtual school at the same time. I can work from home most of the time and only have to go in once a fortnight. I am very lucky my income has not been effected so I want to do something to help others. I am a keen motorcyclist so I want to support the blood bikes ( https://www.bloodbikes.org.uk/ ). These people give up their time to move blood and samples between hospitals. They are not paid and do it to save the NHS money. I have a Rising Fighter in the loft I purchased ages ago. I am going to build that and then put it on a eBay charity auction to support the local branch. I get a build and they get some cash so it is win, win. Mine has blue wheels. I think I robbed the white ones for something else. This will be a bone stock build with bearings (I hope I have enough in stock)

Vintage Wild Dagger Restoration Project
Nobbi1977 replied to rally1998's topic in Vintage Tamiya Discussion
I got it from someone one here as a used body and a new kit. Ran it and played with it for a good while before selling it on. Looks like the guy who bought it had beaten it a bit and is now selling it again. I am not sure I have ever seen a body set for sale so you might be better fixing yours up and then picking another body to run with. If you intend to run it.- 25 replies

Vintage Wild Dagger Restoration Project
Nobbi1977 replied to rally1998's topic in Vintage Tamiya Discussion
My old one is one eBay now, missing one gearbox 😢 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283813806006 To be honest I think they drive better as a WT-01. I had a nip speed controller for these and it took me ages to sell it, no one wanted it. Maybe I should have held on for a little longer.- 25 replies

Finished a long build. Body needed a lot of work and will never be perfect so I went for the well used Mud Bogging look. Think I will stick this one on EBay as a charity auction. Lots of people in need at the moment.
-
So shell finished. Most of the WT-01 underneath is new from spares in my boxes. Wheels shocks from a Mavrick Scout. Magnetic body mounts. Was going for the Mud Bogging look.

Just had a play. Uploaded the wrong picture and entered the competition by accident. Might be best on a PC rather than an iPad. Can anyone withdraw my entry please ?
-
I have just subscribed but I have to admit I do not really understand what the site is for. I was looking and this could be an entry for the latest competition
