I am sure I read years ago that a mix of isopropyl alcohol and water was the same as the Tamiya thinner. Maybe try a little bit in another jar

I have a Bruiser clone and have written about it on here. It is total junk, the quality is terrible. Most of the screws cross threaded and made of cheese. Body is not bad though. I will get back to rebuilding it soon but it will not have the gearbox because that was trashed on delivery.

Can you run a different pinion and use the other holes?

Flaming LiPos edit or even Swollen LiPO

another MF-01X + TL-01 / FF-02 Long Arm build

I got that fed up with trying to get a design that worked that I sold the lot in a paddy. Are the rear uprights cambered? If not can you swap them sides to give more clearance for the arms? Love seeing the time and effort put in like this -
Had a look but they are no good for you. They were off a 4wd so hex front sorry

I think I have a set of them off a Something MS I built. I can have a dig if you want.

You need to give runs time to harden. Often people try and sand them when they are still soft. Take it every easy and slow and you might be ok. I normally cut through the surrounding paint before I get the run flat.

When Banzai was a thing I ordered huge amounts of extra bits that were dirt cheap. I loaded up what I “needed” and then made up to the top of the shipping weight with hop ups. I still have WW2 wheels and tyres coming out my ears from a shipment I thought was lost and then re ordered. It turned up 2 days after the replacements. Pity they stopped selling Tamiya, it took a little sparkle out of the hobby paying 5 times the amount for small parts

I used the Tamiya putty in all of mine. Gave enough slip to turn well but plenty of grip.

Where do I start? No really, where do I start... I have so many parts and projects I cannot remember why I started or what I was planning.

DT-03 oil shocks fit if you are still on the pogo sticks. Steering can be tightened up with a ball setup for the push rod, you just have to do a bit of clearing to get it to fit at full lock. There is so much slop and bump steer I would not waste a lot of time on anymore upgrades, they drive how they drive and that is about it.

Last try before virus fever takes over and I build it

Should be fine. It is supposed to take a 10.5t and will manage that with the additional fan.

Nice looking car I have no experience with these but welcome to the club -
So after a long break I dug out the body and gave it a going over with 400 wet and dry. Would have used finer but 400 is the best I have in stock. Will give it a final blast and then decided what to do with it.

So it has been a while but I now need to get these gone. Much as I would love to restore them myself that is just never going to happen. Photobucket has screwed the images so I will try and get more.

Neo Fighter: What else do we need to build it?
Nobbi1977 replied to MinTea's topic in General discussions
Bearings are a lot easier to fit at the first build and cost almost nothing. Pulling most of a kit apart to fit bearings is a pain. -
I find the 03 better in the rough. Less of a flat bottom than the 02 to hit stuff

Somewhere about here Is the build for my DT-03 Stadium. Think I still have that one, I need to go and look

Is your charger working properly and getting a full charge in to all your batteries?

Where are you based my friend? Shop recommendations are often country specific. -

A proper JIS screwdriver with save a lot of pain and I find a set of good side cutters work well for the sprus. If you have not ordered bearings then I suggest fitting them as you build. Have fun and take pics along the way
