Well my random EBay searches threw up two sets of Madbull wheels advertised as LB ones. 99p and £3.85 for postage make them a bargain. So plan B is use tyres from the HornetBox (not keen on spending another fortune on tyres) and turn this in to a full Mad Bull. I have ordered the correct from uprights so this week should give me some tasks to do. Hornet can go back to stock and have a sleep in the loft until I find myself at a loose end.

That is a nice looking car

I find the same with motorbikes, build a new garage to have space to work on them and suddenly it is full with more bikes. RC cars are at least a bit smaller.....

I think the lexy Sand Viper bodies are about the cheapest on eBay at the moment. I am guessing on a racer the key is to keep the weight down as much as possible.

Help with my batteries and chargers

One holds a charge well the other is not great. The plug is broken but it just plugs into banana plugs further down the cable -
If he is not interested I would be. Love that classic look and I might be able to get a Willy in there.

Works fine on the iPad and they are the pickyist ******s around. -
I went for a ACOMS cheap unit in the end. The price was only just more than buying two servos that I needed so I will give it a go. Cheap units mean I can let the kids play without worrying to much. Will go for something nicer when I build more models for me. That 2.4ghz looks good for the money, another member is trying out a dirt cheap 2.4 stick setup so I was waiting for a write up on that.

If you find a "deal" let me know, I need a body. The bodies the shroud the shock towers limit the use of stiffners.

Any recommendations on what constitutes a decent charger and packs? And where is the best / cheapest / most reputable to go? -

Many thanks. I will read and come back with more questions :-) -
My one turned turned in to four when I thought it would be good to get the best out of combined postage............

I got all my bits free with my Hornet package so I did not do any research or planning. I am very new to RC so am not sure what to do or when. I have 3 packs (one with a bust plug) A conditioner ( of real use or a scam?) And three chargers When do I need to charge and discharge batteries? Do I store them flat or full? What other kit do I need? I think I will need more batteries when my garage gets larger than my amount of batteries. Is it worth looking in to world of LiPo for the occasional runner? Many thanks in advance.

It has to be yellow. Yellow is always faster, ask any Ducati or Ferrari owner -
Vintage Grasshopper Restoration Project
Nobbi1977 replied to rally1998's topic in Vintage Tamiya Discussion
I would leave it 100% as is and buy a rere to build and use. Anything else is going to require almost 100% new parts anyway looking at it. Build a rere as you would have loved to have it back in the day- 13 replies

I think you are talking 2016 now though, bit late for 2015, all the printers are flat out doing corporate Christmas cards

Ooooo that sounds great. I best put it all back together again. I assembled it, thought I was a lead missing and then took it all to bits again. Every day is a school day, many thanks

I have one of these and am a bit confused. Will it run a brushed motor and where is the battery out to power the radio gear?

I keep looking at the price of the Neo Fighter, just over £50 in some places, and wondering the same thing..
