  1. I will have both torque tuned please if you still have them.
  2. Non for 2015. I will download them all and find a calendar template and see if I can combine them.
  3. There is a square hole in the hornet chassis at the back of the battery box waiting to be filled with a pin for the dt-01 back end. I just need to get off my *** and learn this kind of thing.
  4. http://www.tamiyausa.com/articles/feature.php?article-id=212#.VHltJhr46K0
  5. A box art calendar would be nice. Not sure what models but sure there must be some that rise above in the artistic stakes
  6. I just need to decide what to do with it now. Might put it aside while I build the DT-02 and then decide if it needs a new home.
  7. I have some in the bits box, I will look after the weekend. Thanks
  8. Correct body post fitted Close up of the mesh
  9. Well I ordered a cheap set of Tamiya shocks for this one. Two reasons, I am cheap and I fancied building some from parts The parts a very easy to understand I fitted the longer ends, they look about the right length The DT-01 springs might have been a better length but they are a bit wider so would not fit Filling with oil Parts for rear About the right length Used an O ring to space the fitting bolt to hold the damper to the outer side. kept it well clear of hitting the shock tower All done and they are much better than stock. The rear end does not seem to lock up on compression anymore. Added some mess on the vents as well, I quite like the look
  10. Very nice You going to be selling this as a kit? If you make enough money you could design a 4 bar linkage for the back.............................. I have so much admiration for people who have the skills you have, I would love to able to use my computer to do more that Facebook
  11. Many thanks. they are a thing of beauty, pity they are hidden by the wheels
  12. Very true, I used to do bike trackdays about 10 times a year. Now that is a way to eat through cash.
  13. That was what I was thinking. Any hop ups for this are going to cost more than the chassis
  14. I thought it was about time I took a look at the diff and drive. I did not build this so I thought i best check it was all steel. Looks like the back end from a DT-01 would fit Gears look good, not much grease but I will solve this Reassembled with a O-ring on each pinion. Should give an amount of limited slip without total lock up All back together and the axle seems to be good but we will not know to I get to back on the wet grass
  15. Time for a touch of paint while i wait for the body mount. Plain shell is not too bad but casting marks and sharp edges needed sanding First mask up before I changed my mind. Single tone. Alloy wheel silver (£1 a tin from poundland) Roof looks a bit shoddy where I had to sand it. Needs a bit of high build primer but instead I thought I would try something else Gloss black roof still showing marks but it will do for now, will need redoing the first time I flip it
  16. Cool, I will build them up and see when they get here. So many options
  17. I ordered a set of Tamiya 54567 dampers last week, but I cannot remember which chassis I was going to put them on. Model sport list them as for DT-03 but will they Fit DT-02 or 01? http://www.modelsport.co.uk/tamiya-dt03-cva-damper-set-/rc-car-products/385509
  18. I have uploaded it to my google drive. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7He42hDWyo_VmF4bTY1RkFOeGM/edit?usp=docslist_api
  19. To keep or just as a build helper? http://www.competitionx.com/tamiya-manuals/
  20. You lot are going to have me broke and divorced by the end of the month
  21. And cheaper than EBay as well. Got a couple of bits finishing on EBay this weekend so might have to get spending. Fancy a GoPro though but shocks seem like a must.
  22. Use Google translate in chrome. Works well. I speak no German and ordered quite a bit. Postage is a flat £11 ish so it pays to order a bit in one go. They post via dhl so it is tracked to your door
  23. I was looking at the carbon shock extension and brace kit, recommended by a race website. I was just thinking if I could replace the whole lot it might be quicker than waiting for the C parts. I am going to finish playing with the Bull Fighter body this week end I think and still got lots to do to the Hornet so not short of things to do........
  24. Love the two tone. Just masked up for much the same but in black on silver. Wheels are here http://tamico.de/Carson-Reifen-Felgen-Set-All-Terrain-schwarz-DT-01-DT-02-900027 You got a link for the shocks you used?
  25. Would be interesting to see if they are any good at that price. Is there a tried and tested section on this site?
