  1. I have been doing mine with balding shears for the best part of 20 years. Nature is helping me by making me need to cut less and less each time
  2. Still got it
  3. It is good when it works out like that 😀
  4. Fantastic I have built a couple with my son as he will never get the same experience with 1:1 cars I had with my dad, they are just to reliable now.
  5. Most Hex wheels will fit. I guess it depends on the style, size and tyre you want to go for, or are you looking for stock?
  6. I was so sure I had ordered a Comical Avente. Not seem one on here yet, has anyone had one? Postage is not good at the moment. I have one item on the way back to me after they said they had delivered and one stuck in transit and I cannot get hold of them to chase it up. The this that annoys me the most is they are both members on here I was sending to 🤯
  7. Yes it is in my front room still waiting to be built drop me a pm if you are interested
  8. These seem a good price https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/114159977331
  9. There is more than 1 Blackfoot. The original came with a dodge old chassis the later ones on the lovely WT-01. WT-01 needs hex front and rear
  10. Nothing!!! Sat waiting for my Comical Avente to turn up and it has not. Checked order, no orders found Check credit card, no payment gone out Look longingly at the bearings that have turned up for this model.... Curse my brain for being so small Curse Covid 19 because Fusion are so busy they have stopped any orders Guess I will have to wait. Happy @Fusion-Hobbies seem to be weathering the storm and thank them for still being open to keep our habit fed. Well done guys
  11. The answer, unfortunately is but more wheels. These are buggy wheels so need bearings in the front not hexes. They look nice, where did you get the from?
  12. I use panel prep for everything and it never lets me down. My 5l tin is now empty after about 15 years so I am using 99.9% alcohol.
  13. Sounds like you are in mode 5. You need to try mode 1 https://traxxas.com/sites/default/files/82056-4-OM-EN-R01.pdf
  14. Any buggy wheels will fit. A popular swap is the WW2 wheels and front axels to turn it in to a mad bull
  15. I have a couple NIP. Drop me a PM with what is palatable and we can see what we can do.
  16. These have a few modes on the ESC. One can set it to drive “normally” the others are set specifically for crawling
  17. Just a thought but why not keep the original totally original with all the radio gear and then build a Re-release for bashing with the kids? Lots of nostalgia but without the regret when it breaks.
  18. These? Fitted but never run. Think they were off my failed MF01x project
  19. You can get a torque tuned for about £12 on ebay. I would run that and a 17t, anything more is a bit much for the stock ESC.
  20. Pinion with a 540 is 17t or 19t I believe. Only two sets of holes in the case so only two options
  21. Very odd. I cannot think of a viable answer. I would leave the gearbox as it is and pull the motor. Check the wiring and then run it out the car. Once you sort the motor problem you can look in to the gearbox issue. When you get the motor out check the pinion is tight as well, it is possible to miss the flat and have it tightened down on the shaft, it does not stay tight long. Feel free to post pictures as you go along. They help no end. Good luck
  22. Billy Wizz always makes me think of the interview scene in Trainspotting.
  23. Sold my Rising Fighter for £103 on eBay. All proceeds to the Lincolnshire blood bikers. Glad it helped and it freed up some room in the attic
  24. Did you turn them both together? The diff will allow them to spin free independently
  25. Check all the connections, I have had a lead come off a motor one. It threw me for ages. If you turn both wheels does it turn the motor?
