Gnarly! Is that the center one-way setup? Looks like something suddenly stopped turning when it shouldn't have.

I'm very intrigued by the racing fighter and M05 R. Excited to see pictures.
-
I'm interested in the blue parts lot and the A110 body.
-
I just bought an M-06, one of those parts lots looks very tempting..

These are pretty amazing, I've never seen working lifts like that before. Good luck with the sale!

This thread makes my jaw drop. Where do you find these rare birds? ebay picks are slim with this chassis lately.

Nobbi's build thread inspired me to purchase a DT03, I've never looked back. Great value and fantastic car to bash around with. I'll be following this thread, I'm curious to see the differences between the buggy and truck versions with some detail.

That's because that belt has never run. I bought it years ago when they were priced the same as a black belt.
I built this particular chassis as a shelf queen from spares I had and eBay finds I just couldn't pass up. In hindsight, I could've probably purchased a used PRO version with hop ups for less, but it was fun building it up and hunting down elusive parts. In all black plastics it looks fantastic. The black J parts battery holder was the toughest to find. Jason's store to the rescue.
Pictured- photographic evidence of poor financial responsibility:

I too have an unhealthy obsession with the ta03 platform. Oddly enough though, never had an R, but 3 F's. That body makes me want to convert one of them to an R.

Such pretty machines.

The random events on this thread are quite entertaining LOL
Finally did something RC related today! It's been at least a month since I trimmed this body. Laid paint down. Lots of stunning details on this Scooby.

-

One of my ta03's may need to get converted to an RS version..

My first post in this thread, so I hope this one is worthwhile.
Today I received what I believe to be an early version TA04 R and then some (not the later one with SSG bits), or a heavily hopped up chassis. Either way I think the eBay gods were smiling upon me when I saw this pop up.
She's in need of a full tear down rebuild and a few bits and bobs to make it complete, but there's a lot of meat left on these old bones for sure.

Had it delivered to my work, so needless to say: I'm having a great day.

Arguments can be made either way.
I placed a bid on an item. I was the only bidder for 6 days. I got outbid in the final second of the auction. I was so sure it was mine, in the final minutes that I didn't raise my bid since there'd been a week of nothing. I have to admit I was a bit peeved. I'd bid on it early on thinking others would too and I would raise my bid towards the end, but I never got the chance.
-
Lately it seems I've been losing quite a few potentially good deals to bidders using snipe apps. So I haven't been able to regret any bids as of late.
-
Well, if you folks would stop out bidding me, I'd be getting more cars.
I'm going to assume it's you all I'm bidding against, anyways.
-
Had to be at work yesterday, but it was pretty slow. Managed to trim this subaru body I'm doing for a friend. Finally getting a hang of using a blade, I'll be doing some really light sanding compared to my last scissor cut body.

I'd start with your best all-rounder. The ta04 and f103 need some pretty smooth surfaces to be as fun as they should be.

I encountered this a few weeks back. I think I might have even mentioned it in this thread. Apparently the early firmware versions were backwards compatible, but they made no mention of this on their site. But the manual that came with mine says DSM2 and DSMR only [emoji53] I found a few used 3100 receivers on ebay. I mostly wanted a second transmitter to run two models at once anyways.Looks slick regardless! Nice work!
It is even better-looking than my brand-new Spektrum DX4C radio that I just learned is incompatible with DSM receivers, which all my models run
Anybody want a 4-channel radio?! -
Good question. I was actually happy to see that olive brown finish screw in my dt03. Reminded me of the ta03 kits I built when I first got into the hobby.

Classic upper deck hop up:

Newer version:

Both reinforced the servo and braced the front half of the chassis to sharpen steering response. There may have been a chassis variant that included an upper deck, but I'm not sure. Either way, you can find either on eBay at reasonable prices.

You can apparently get hex adapters for the fronts. I've got a set on the way to try for myself.

This opens up wheel options quite a bit. Unfortunately all my favorite tamiya wheels are 2". Though it may have been a standard size once upon a time, tire options today are quite limited. Egress spike tires/hotshot oval block tires are about the extent of your choices.

I love the elegant simplicity of the f103 platform. I've had a few over the years.

-
That was fast.

Vrdetailing - great color choice on that neo fighter.
