  1. How do I view the showroom Dave?
  2. cheers, will drive it around a bit but not much as it's like new.
  3. Hi, Bought a Tamiya TL-01, and it needs a few parts, 1 driveshaft/dogbone, front axles, as the kingpins have been overtightend and stripped the threads slightly, passenger side front hub carrier. If anyone has any of these please let me know. cheers
  4. Finally got my hands on one of these again, very nice condition. I would like to drive it around a little bit, but don't want to use the current wheels and tyres as they are nos. The person who I bought it off told me the hubs I need to buy (Avante, Mudblaster), but I can't remember what wheels I need to get to put on them. Cheers
  5. Got one of these off eBay, not in great condition when I got it's but it looks almost new after several hours of taking it apart and putting it back together. One of the drive shafts/dogbones, is broken and I want to replace it or all of them with an all metal alternative, any ideas on what I can use? Cheers
  6. I do have a Sealy air compressor but it's only a 25ltr 1.5hp, so not really enough for sandblasting, was considering buying a 3hp 50ltr twin version and one of those small sand blasting cabinets.
  7. wow, nice pile of MB stuff! Used is fine with me, I'm in Hertfordshire aswell, Bishops Stortford. There maybe more parts missing than that but don't know yet, the car should arrive tomorrow or the next day. Where abouts are you, will deffo buy the parts I need from you. Thanks
  8. Thw whole assembly! I could probably make something up but would like to get the posts. Going to buy a Dremel today
  9. Bought a Monster Beetle of evilbay and it's missing a few bits, servo cover, rear body mounts, rear bumper and one rear shock support. Having trouble locating the rear body mounts, other stuff seems to be available, but was wondering if anyone had the templates for any of this stuff, and then I can just make it myself out of alloy or carbon. Thanks
  10. Will watch with interest, my childhood Clod that I bought brand new in Hong Kong was stolen from my parents house about five years ago! Keep scouring ebay for another vintage Clod!
  11. I suppose it depends on what media you use and the pressure?
  12. Did you win that green one on evilbay then?
  13. I would like to see a re re 959.
  14. I sold all of mine along with my Transformers at a car boot sale when I was in my teens, with the exception of Wicket, I still have him! My new collection is on display, but all I can do is look at them. At least with a car I can tinker with it and drive it!
  15. Ahh, I didn't mean it that way! It's just some of the carded Figures run to stupid crazy money that I wouldn't spend anyway £10k + If I sold just one or two of my rarer figures it would fund a nice 959 if I can find one! I intend on selling most of the Star Wars figs next year after the new film comes out.
  16. TBH, this hobby seems quite cheap as early this year I started collecting all the vintage Star Wars figures, with originl weapons! That has cost loads! I think the Carisma 959 maybe too big, would need to see it in the flesh to make a desicion, was thinking about a Tamiya 4wd 1/12 modern chassis and getting a repro 959 shell to fit that. Any ideas what my best option would be there? cheers
  17. Hi, Just joined and looking forward to getting back intot the world of R/C cars. Had loads of them when I was younger, a few years ago I sold my Tamiya VR6 Golf online and regret that. Had a nice Clod before that but someone broke into my parents summer house and nicked it! annoyed at that since I bought it in Hong Kong when I was 12! Would really like to get my hands on a Porsche 959, but they don't seem to come up too often. Nice site.
