Lol well I thought I would get a qd so she wouldn't use mine she has a grasshopper of her own I just got offered the qd clod and monster beetle so might just take them never know might be worth a bit in few years

Ok I'll give it a go he is a question for yous about clod I have 2 esc's and 2 lipo's and one reciever I know I have to remove one wire going to reciever so far so good what about on/off switches there will be 2 of them can I join these together or am I stuck with 2

I bought 2 lipo's another probe wp esc and a y connector so I have reciever 2 esc 2 lipo's and y connector I'll give this a go see how I get on

I noticed with the motor it delivers power different than brushed motor with brushed if you throw stick forward it lights up tyres with brushless it just pulls of the goes like mad

I have one etronix probe wp esc if I buy another and a lipo battery could I use these to run both motors on my clod with 15t firebolt motors or will there be a problem of motors running different directions

I went for a speed passion revington s setup the truck is a lot better now way more go all I need to do now is get a set up for my clod a big thank you to everyone who helped me in this build I am working on getting pics up when I do yous can let me know what you think

I installed PC revington interface I instled set up but says noting about USB drivers

I downloaded what they had on speed passion but still no sign of downloading drivers can't connect I did follow instructions on sure but there ain't an option to download USB drivers been at it for hours

I bought a speed passion revington a I have no idea how to download (drivers) to change settings on PC

I put a brand new hpi firebolt in it earlier and wasn't much better that's why I thought needed a bigger motor or maybe it will be better if I use the hpi motor and a 2s lipo but not sure

I tried it again there it is slow but not to slow it just has no guts about it I mean the hover was out and it would hardly run over the hose on hover it just needs more guts not really more speed well both would good. If I had it outside it prob wouldn't go up hills or on grass etc

Yeah I new it wod be a lot less than nitro but defo something not right everything is free double checked the spur gear is in centre of car I drilled 2 holes in alloy plate everything sits on put a big jubilee clip trough the holes placed motet in clip and tightened it has gone solid the pinion is free against spur not to tight I think I had settings wrong on esc it was fast in forward and reverse ( well I say fast but it wasn't) and motor started to smoke so changed settings it's now fast in forward and slower in reverse if this makes sense and no smoke I think the motor is just not powerful enough with the etronix probe esc could I run a more powerful motor and a lipo I think it can take a 2s as said earlier I was looking at a hpi motor but it was 14.4 v which I think is to powerful for my esc maybe I shouldn't have bought that esc should have done my homework more I have 2 projects this one and clod think I bit of more than I can chew but you guys have been great

I charged battery fully it's a 2000 mah nimh I have fitted my standard silver can back on I hooked it up it ran ok still not a great turn of speed battery lasted 5 min running it around in house and motor got quite hot

Defo nothing binding I checked it is like walking pace and literally stops dead if any force is applied on it and that's it running in 2 wheel drive

Got my clod up and running today new knuckles and tubes alloy 4 link system running 2 hpi firebolts and 2 etronix probe wp esc's and 2 lipo's makes a big difference also got my acme monster t up and running well it was a monster t nitro stripped it down put new shorter arms all round and fitted a brushless system new shell both were going great untill acme rear diff blew up lol so ordered 2 more but all in all both are pretty good
