Hi, what town are you near to in Kent, my Bro lives in Faversham and is just getting into Tamiya. I will let him know about your sales

-
Thanks for all the replies.
I had some quite poor run times when I took a car out the other day. Two of my packs are second hand, two are newish, they were all charged about 10 or so days previous to my trip out. The above info suggests my run times we're perhaps correct.
I will try to do a couple of runs with freshly charged packs this weekend

How long will a fully charged 7.2v battery stay fully charged for?
If I charge up some batteries and take them on holiday will they still be good to go after 4 or 5 days?
Thanks

Looks nice but the pics are a bit small

I like it, are you keeping a 380 motor or upgrading?

Love that last pic outside on the road

Very enjoyable read. I totally DID'NT see that Fiat body shell coming

-
Sterling work Dave, that is a great resto right there. I wonder what happened to the original 4th wheel

-
You have built that Neo very nicely, painting the chassis was a nice touch

-
Now this looks like it will be a very interesting build.

Thanks very much gents for all the replys and links.
The sport tuned I ordered from HK arrived much, much faster than I was expecting and has caught me on the hop

I have recently acquired a second hand Baja Champ roller, it seems all standard but has no motor (or pinion gear obviously).
I have purchased a Tamiya Sport Tuned motor but have no idea about pinion gears, size, teeth, anything.
Any advice on which one I need to buy will be greatly received.
Thanks.

Some good examples here, very inspiring

Arhh, I had this dilemma recently.
I really wanted a 4wd buggy and although I liked the Neo Scorcher I much preferred the looks of the Neo Fighter. I found myself looking (again) at old Tamiya buggies and ended up sourcing an old Baja Champ.
I'll report back later with what I think of the Baja but from your list I would pick the Scorcher

I think the car looks great without decals tbh mate. Also if it were mine I might try to black out the windows rather than cutting the body, If it looks rubbish you can always cut it later anyway
