I have one in a TB01 and it works fine, it goes slower backwards mainly cos of the esc, and the timing. I try to go fowards most of the time aswell!

In a final some guy was in the lead on first lap while another hit a wall at full speed, well he thought he was in the lead but he was looking at wrong car! His car was wedged in the wall.

I ran a 7.2v charger from an 85amp leisure battery while on charge and it ******ed the 7.2v charger. Also dont use a cigerette socket while the engine is switched on for some chargers as the input states 12v and the socket can kick out more than 14v.

someone at the local rc club is using an 8000mah battery pack, think its an 8 cell lithium pack and cost about £30

I have now got a p2k2 motor and the top end is way higher than my orion 17X2. Its easy to control on acceleration aswell due to being less punchy. People ask what winding it is and they dont believe its a 27turn

An evo shell is easy to paint as there is only one colour! Evo6 anyway

I have a 17 double in a tb01 which goes faster than a protech car with a 14 double motor. Then another chap is running an team associated chassis with a 27 single motor which beats everything there! Its driver ability that counts, just try with what you have got now!

Mine is dead easy, I look like death every morning and Luco sounds better than Luke.

Was £40 with out ball races from LHS, Another £4 for bearings. The part number is in the tb01 manual.

Who makes this elusive motor? My LHS is still looking for one.

You have shattered my childhood dreams! The Avante 2001 is one of the cars I have always wanted. I will have to settle for an Egress now.Im glad I have a Terra Scorcher though. Luke

The terra scorcher is way better off road! Ive got the race steering set for tb01 and now it goes in a straight line.

I use my Evo VI as a touring car. Just get some decent tyres, shocks and the UJ shafts. UJ s are pricey though, £30 a pair!

I broke two out of three cars today including my new thunderbrick. Well thats what there for!

I got a 17X2 orion in my TB01 and I get 15 mins of run time. It gets a bit hot though. So if I put a 27X1 in it will it be a lot slower? I race against others who have 27X1 in there cars and they seem to be as quick as mine! Luke

I race a TB01 at my local club and nearly everyone else have really expensive cars, I have not broken any parts but all those other ones quite often snap shock posts an stuff. And I did get 2nd place in the 'A' finals which probably annoyed a few people.
