The water goes down inside the wires from where its joined to the motor maybe and its cappilary action down the wire. Just a theory. -
Boomerang Steering Issues

Also, is the linkage from the servo to the arm the right length? Im not sure how the steering works on a boomerang but are the tie rods either side of the car equal lengths. -

Try the servo on its own to rule out the possibility of a knackered servo. Luke -
quote:Originally posted by WillyChangCan't remember exactly now, but I think I put some 3mm washers under the TB-01's steering arms' pivot step screws... pretty sure we got most of the slop out of the system just with std parts. But even with all the slop gone... doesn't mean Tamiyas will track perfectly straight. Its all in the family trait to 'wander' a bit. [] Biggest annoyance with that machine was 'tweak'. Hit something hard and usually the steering trim needs slight correction, hit another time and the trim is off again. I suspect its those 2-piece suspension arms - hate them. id="quote">id="quote"> Ive noticed a lot of play in the up and down movement of the ams, I'll pinch some washers from work Tomorrow.

I know the Snetterton in Leicester and its clearly not that one, Could I just turn up with camping gear on the Friday night or Saturday and get in, if I come down. Dont know where I'll be that far in advance. Luke

My mate is selling a Top Force non runner, needs drive shaft inners and outers, new paint job, steering knuckles, motor plate. Any offer considered. UK Newark area Luke
-
is this Snetterton the one where the go carting place is?
-
Its pretty straight forward, but goes anywhere in reverse. Also, can you get proper u.j. drive shafts?
-
are those photos of the 53365 and are they easy to get hold of?
-
easy one I didnt put glue on mine cos thoughts what I thought would happen, but Im not racing it yet. Luke
-
Another item to buy, my 1:1 car is cheaper to maintain[] My list for the shop is getting bigger by the minute. Thanks Luke

I have noticed a lot of play in the standard steering arms, Does the aluminum upgrade kit 53365 stop this or is that for weight loss?
-
Just took it out for a spin with the lowest speed gear set up with a 13 year old 20x2 motor and 13 year old 1200 tamiya battery. I thought it was well quick, so I put in a new 1900 batt and it looked super charged! If the motor is luke warm when just been used, does that mean I need a quicker one?

Took my new car out for a proper spin tonight, never again shall I use an msc, Ive never had brakes b4, wish I could have afforded them years ago. -
I shall enquire at the local rc shop cheers
-
I shall stick to the doubles then but I still dont know what cogs to put inside the evolution6 wrc TB01, Maybe they all are suitable, just depends on owners preference. Cheers
-
Ive got an old kyosho mega motor 20x2, what is the ideal gearing? I plan to get a 15x2, what gears for that? And whats the difference between a double and tripple? Luke

Can you get alloy shock mounts for a TB01 or stronger ones than plastic? Or even driving lessons!
-
Its been a while since I last drove one, about 1988 Just built an TB01 and gave it a quick run. (there not as strong as the old terra scorcher). The maiden test run and Ive bent the front shock mount by touching an unmovable object!
