I have just discovered that the m-07 has come out, which seems to have affected values of these so updated prices, m-05 for £75 posted and m-06 for £60 posted.

Would like to clear £200 after postage ideally.

It's a renaultsport Clio 200 I'm preparing for track. Happy to entertain offers on the tundra.

Tamiya Neo Scorcher TT-02B buggy for sale. This is an extremely fast buggy, and has been upgraded to handle the power with almost every part of the drivetrain upgraded to cope with the power of the mamba max pro and 5700kv motor. Postage to mainland UK is included in price. Upgraded with the following parts: Ball bearings used throughout. Castle creations 5700kv 4 pole motor. Castle creations mamba max pro ESC, and castle link. On/Off switch removed to reduce wiring, powers on with battery connected. (wired for 4mm bullet connector to battery) DF-02 bevel gears and differentials (metal gears as stock plastic do not survive long) Square racing Japan universal shafts front and rear. Square racing rear hubs Tamiya aluminium centre shaft with aluminium drive cups. Tamiya aluminium steering mechanism Adjustable turnbuckles all round. Fresh set of shocks and springs newly built. Square racing carbon fibre rear shock tower (plastic stock part flexes too much, do not run front carbon tower as angle of deflection will mean it does not survive an impact.) Yeah racing adjustable motor mount. Custom gearing with 34 tooth pinion along with the powerful motor make this a very fast buggy. High speed spur gear set allowing use of any spur gear. Hitec HS-7966HB coreless steering servo for ultra quick and accurate steering. Custom rear wing. Pro line Dirt Hawg tyres. 2 channel etronix pulse radio control transmitter and receiver. This buggy has been pushed hard to find the limits of the tt-02b, but every component has always been replaced or upgraded where needed to get to what I believe is the most durable setup. Would like to get £260 posted given the components used in the drive train but happy to entertain reasonable offers. Check my vids in the youtube thread to see how quick this thing is.

Hi no trades, my 1:1 car project is needing some attention hence the sale.
-
For sale unfinished Tamiya Toyota tundra high lift with 3 speed gearbox. Mostly built but not finished, and never painted. Comes with 4wdrc high turn motor, steering and gear change servo's, and partially wired with led lights. Will come with original box, the inner part of which has unfortunately caught some overspray from another project car. Selling as its been sitting for over a year now and with other projects it makes sense to move this one on. It has never been run apart from a short distance on carpet to test the drivetrain. I would like £260 for this thanks.

Hi, I have a couple of cars i'm looking to move on as i havent touched them for about a year now, I havent put them on ebay yet offering them here first. First up is my M-05, originally bought with the vw golf shell, it comes with a crx shell aswell, both shells have been used and the golf shell has a split at the front i stopped using it to prevent further damage. TRF dampers and springs, and rear ARB, ball bearings used throughout, and if i remember rightly the high speed gearset. The front diff is filled with oil and is leaking slightly so will need attention. This car is absolutely superb to drive, it has a torque tuned motor in it which is well matched to the chassis. I'm looking for £75 posted go mainland uk. Has everything bar receiver. Secondly, is my M-06, its a stock chassis except for the 3-racing diff installed, i've never got round to actually running it with this diff and its seen very little use before that. Its been a project to fit the abarth tc1000 shell to it, which has required removing some of the plastic model engine but it will all fit up and look like the engine is still there, and if interested I can add some pictures of that. I'm hoping for £60 for this one posted. Will need receiver and servo but inclues esc. both will come with motors and wheels and tyres. Will consider any offers.

easily done, I have a tt02b as well and I think the only reason I haven't done this is just luck lol.

are both axles spinning in the same direction? is one of the diffs the wrong way round?

New release: Tamiya DT-03 Neo Fighter Buggy
Zuban replied to Mokei Kagaku's topic in General discussions
I didn't find the ball diff lasted very long with a high powered brushless, it stripped the splines off the outdrives. -
I'm using the eagle racing universals with the standard Tamiya nyloc nuts and the standard plastic hex's and haven't had any problem so far running my 5700kv motor on 2s
-
I have added a brake light, I've kept it minimal, works on application of the brakes, and inspired by the f1 rainlight/brakelight which I had stuck in my head since you suggested it.
-
That's a really cool idea!, I will look into doing that next! should be doable. I don't run it that low, or haven't yet, just the widest point on the arms, might try it on road though although you have to account for some squat in the rear under acceleration. I just have it that low so when its sitting on the shelf it looks super low and mean lol!
-
I use eagle racing universals, quality is very good and they have taken a real beating so far with no problem and my tt02b is powered by a 5700kv brushless. http://www.broadtech.hk/eagleshop/shop/ShopProductDetail.aspx?id=TT02B-06F-U

Impressed with the performance on 2s lipo with the silvercan motor.
-
Had the urge recently to add some lights to my buggy's and I knew what I was looking for with the tt02b and am quite happy with the result.
-
the gpm gears weren't available when I built my tt-02b so I went with the df-02 option, good thing about it, is that its cheaper, and that you get lots of other bits in the bag aswell which are very usefull. I am glad to see the gpm steel setup though, so far the df-02 parts have proven reliable but I would expect the gpm parts to be stronger still.
-
As XV says it will likely be flexing, I went through the same thing. DF-02 diff and bevel gear is a tough setup, I've abused my tt-02b using df-02 gears with a castle 5700kv motor a lot and no problem. You will need the metal parts bag and the diff housings for the DF-02. I made a video a while back to go over the changes made to mine after being asked a few times, hopefully it can give you some ideas!

First time out this year and decided to stretch the tt-02b's legs.
-
Realised recently I had enough spares to build a second ta-03f-s so set about it, this is how far I got, only need some extra pulleys, and a shell and appropriate mounts and it will be good to go. As yet undecided whether to keep it short wheelbase or make it a standard touring car wheelbase.
-
Did a little more setup work on my TA-03F-S project, finally getting there with the suspension.
-
Took the TT-02 out for a bit of a splash about!.
