Well I have several kits pretty much one of every kit available. Was thinking pairing this with a sport tuned would pick up the speeds to just under stupid.

Was surfing eBay and saw a speed gear set for ww2. Has anyone tried this, if so how was performance and durability? Thanks

I run a complete Thorp dirt burners rear, gear and ball diff in my vintage Monster Beetle with a hpi 15 turn motor with no problems. You can find them on ebay as complete sets or you can piece then together out of parts, but it will cost either way.

As soon as I get it done I will. I think I have a problem when it comes to the Wheely kits. I have a new heavy dump truck waiting.

I didn't do much rc related today. Looked at eBay for a srb f150. Decided on a paint color for my farm king and watched NFL Football all day. My Panthers are undefeated!!! My other passion besides rc.

I decided to do the farm king in kind of a cat yellow, but darken it with a drop or two of orange. My goal is a "safety" yellow, like the color of caution signs. I'll save the red for a tumbling bull. Need it to warm up a little before I fire up the airbrush. Building it got me in the mood to build. I assembled my special Type 2 VW van last night. It will be painted yellow and white, love that color combo. Does anyone have tips on painting and decal application? I have pretty big hands and have a hard time getting in the body.

Finally finished assembling my farm king after a year. Now I need to decide on a paint color and wanted input from all the color experts here after reading the hornet paint thread. I am considering the following colors. John Deer green, almost the box art color. Ford tractor blue Catapillar yellow Farmall tractor red Need all the color experts to give their opinion! Thanks

What I have done is get true vintage original kits for only the 5 cars that have special meaning to me. M38 Wild Willy, the first Tamiya I ever drove. It was my brothers and that was my first introduction to the addiction. I have an original one, only need one small plastic par, one screw and nut, and decals and it will be done. Original Super Champ. Same brother gave me one. I have one, complete with vintage radio gear. All I need for this one is decals and to paint the re re driver. Wheelys Wheeler. I have a line on an assembled, never driven one I am trying to work a deal for. SRB F150. Always wanted one, don't have one yet, but I keep looking. Blazing Blazer. It always looked so awesome in the catalogue, I'll probably never be able to afford one. If Tamiya re releases it I will buy it as long as it comes with the same tire. I also am looking for a modern discontinued kit, the ta02 mustang. I have a 95 gt in my garage and I would love to paint one to match. If anyone has one, or a new unpainted body kit in the US send me a pm! The other vintage cars I own are ones I got for a price I couldn't resist, Blackfoot, Frog, and 2 Lunchboxes, and 2 Monster Beetles. All of those get driven. I even use the Frog to teach my daughter how to drive rc. The remaining cars in my collection are re releases. I get the look of old, but not the price. I do have one weakness. I own every Wheely new release to include the land cruiser and dump truck 4x4 version, except for the tumbling bull and Honda turbo, haven't got those in hand yet.

I believe the two share a chassis, if so, what is the major difference between the two? I also have a couple questions I am not allowed to ask about decals. If someone could private message me I would appreciate it. Thanks

I am looking at a few cheap brushed esc with lipo lvd for a few of my vintage and re release runners. My question is how many amps should the esc rated to handle with the hpi 15 turn brushed motor? That's the hottest motor I will probably ever run. Also, I am looking for a couple rounded case lipo batteries, can anyone recommend a us source for low cost batts? Thanks
