  5. you can calculate the vmax: vmax in km/h = (((Motor rpm/total gearing)*tire circuit in cm )/10000)*6 tire cuiruit= tire height in cm*pi (pi=3,1415...) eg.: 15000/5,5*21,5cm/10000*6 = ca 35km/h but for the real speed you must also caluculate the friction, the areodynamic drag, akku voltage, electric resistance and 100 more parameters
  6. just check my highest hits in my showroom: 1st: my highest moved from 15962 on 1 Feb. 2010 to 18039 hits today: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...55&sid=2958 2nd: 12014 hits - http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...60&sid=2958 3rd: 6032 hits - http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...03&sid=2958 .... and my lowest at 127 hits (for more than 5 years ) - http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...23&sid=2958

  12. It's really insane fast - just good for a safe bet like that. put up a some money on the front of the front seat passanger. The money belongs to him if he reaches it before the speedometer shows 100km/h. The Turboboost will press him in the seat

  19. I love the TB02, which i raced in the Austrian TamiyaEurocup (class superstock 23T) in 2 seasons and never ever had a problem with the Diffs... In my opinion it'S very worth that price of EUR 100. A TT01 cost more than EUR 100,-- and has got any hopup part the TB02 has got. TB02 out of kit: ball bearings, oil filled dampers, 3 main gears (55T, 58T, 61T), alloy shaft, adjustable suspension with l/r turn buckles adjustable steering with l/r turnbuckles, heavy duty servo saver If you tune up a TT01 to a TB02 which comes out of the kit, you will have to pay another EUR 50 to 70,--
  20. You can get a an original Buggy body like the the Dark Impakt and use it as dust cab in the DF03RA. It will fit perfect under the Subaru body and must not be painted The bodies aren't really expensive and msut not be painted. Then you will have the same effect, like in the DF03 Buggy or the DB01 Buggy. So there is no problem with the dust.

  25. Hi, so it seems you want to start racing and from your questions it can be seen that this will be your first race... BUT: * Before considering a Brushless, you should learn to drive your car steadliy around the track with a Standard Motor. You will see that getting constant laptimes is NOT easy, not even with the Standard 540 Motor. * Learn how to setup your car Then when you have reached this level, you can consider getting a faster motor and enter a faster class. Since those races are very regimented, and there a different kind of classes. Usually not all types of motors are allowed. I love my DF03-RA, but i would not race it in a touring car race, since it's not very competitively and there are much more raceable chassis from Tamyia than the DF03RA. I'Ve attended in many races in last 15 years and i've seeĀ“n always the same mistakes done by beginners: *'Yes i can drive my car fast on the parking place so i'm ready to attend a race' Those guys always even didn'T finish the race and after a few races there motivation was lost and they were never seen. Better to start slow
