  2. I'm sometimes racing my TA05R & TB02-TRF in the Austrian Tamiya Cup series class GT2 & and race some Club races. I used to race much more a few years ago (all Tamiya Cup races from 2000 - to 2004 class Stock & GT2, HPI Cup, Club Races, ), but time's the problem and i want to have more time for my family. So i'm driving my Rally cars, my Hilux, XC-Chassis and Tamtech Gear Buggies for fun on sunday walks or for some photo sessions for Tamiyaclub Photo Competitions.
  3. i don't like those 'how much is it worth' questions... - they are only annoying - those prices are really individually Just surf the inet for prices or ebay - And if you are really interested in selling something please use the right forums section! In my opinion Tamiyaclub should not be a place for price inquiry... And of course: This is a forum not a chat, so if you don't get a answer within 1 hour, you must not be miffy. just me 2 cent cheers Michael
  4. Those wheels are from kit#58333 Subaru Impreza WRC 2004 (TT01) - wheels got the number: #0440075
  5. Hi, Rc-mart is fine, and the shipping time depends on your money.. - Mostly shipping takes 2 to 4 days with EMS (Hongkong Speedpost), inkluding the customs clearing. When ordering for the first time, you must legitimate your adress, otherwise your order is not processed. Processing your order can also take up to 3 days, but mostly it's done within a day. All fine parts - but the most necessary things are: the HopUp Transmission shaft, alloy motor mount, universal shafts for the front axle In terms of figures the M02 and the TA02 with speed tuned gearing should have the same top speed. The Mini has a lower gearing and less tire diameter, whilst the TA02 has a higher gearing, but a bigger tire diameter.
  6. Results are up!!! Congrats to cczoom!!! All great entries & me happy ending up that high! cheers Michael

  19. those kit got different decals sheets - the '99er version (kit 58253) has got other decals and not those 'tiger stripes'. Those pics of the model reference of kit 58253 are wrong. - Just look at the model reference of kit 58253 and look at the 'New Built.' Since there are only 2 New Builts there (1x 99'er version and 1x new built from 58229 ( also in the wrong place there!), you will easy spot the difference.
  20. but it still isn't from Carson....- i'm happy for you - go on an buy this...
  21. Got my birthday pressi today: Tamtech Gear Hotshot, and some fine HopUp-Parts (tuned alloy shaft, alloy parts & dampers, 2xGB01 Ball Diffs, pinions) Will be fit with my Mamba 6800 Brushless System from my TamTech Gear Frog. To bad my wife put it away until my birthday (end of march) will be a fine, fast runner
  22. i'd recommend a newer, cheaper body (Xsara, Focus), which is affordable, because the will get damage when rally racing for the shelf of course you can get the body you like. following bodies of your choice can not be used with the standard TA02, because of it' 257mm wheelbase: * Toyota Corolla WRC (237mm - only with TA02S -> TA02 with TA01 rear suspension (the other way round) * Peugeot 206 WRC (237mm) * Renault Clio (245mm) also the Subaru '99 German Rally Master and Arai Version are very rare in these days. Older bodies which are not too expensive, but good looking: Mitsubishi VI, VII
  23. the viscosity of the oil should always fit the damper spring - you should not use a soft oil with harder springs and the other way round. also there is a need of taking the right damperplates insider the dampers - there are 3 available 1 holes (make it harder) to 3 holes plates. it's a sience finding out the right setup - - you should use the shorter damper holders for the front axle - pic4 shows me that you use the longer holders, so that it result with that camber - there is no need in that ground clearance, because when you look at that pic4 you will see that the deepest place of your car is still the front suspension (look at the suspension by the wheels) - - you should also always have a little positive damperway - so when you lift up your chassis a little, the tires should not leave the ground at once. - i always use my rally cars with a ground clearance of 1 to 1,5 - 2 cm on gravel ground - this TA02 has got 1,6 cm ground clearance and runs perfectly on smaller jumps and gravel - TA02 - in Rally Action (on few pics down that showroom entry you will see the it's ground clearance in Action) here the TA02 is setup with standard oildampers (same as yours) with much positve damperway, 400oil and standard springs - the car lies perfectly and runs very smooth on unsettled terrain. - with a tarmac setup on race tracks i usally run my TB02 on 4 to 5 mm in the front and 5 to 6mm in the rear axle with a harder suspension
