I'm currently building a TRF211XM kit. The quality of the kit is amazing even the screws are the best quality I've ever seen. I've never raced before either but hope to get started soon with this car.

Thank you for the advice, the only place I found the newer rod you speak of was at modelsport uk so I ordered it. -

Thank you so much! -
Hey guys I know this hopup is hard to find but I'm piecing together a kit myself. I've found the carbon piece and the L parts tree does anyone have a part list of what else I need?

New RC Car Television show for Babies (Zerby Derby)

I watch it all the time with my 8 month old son. Sometimes they have a boat on there too. It's a really cool show. -
You do amazing work. Although it hurts to see that Ford grill on a Chevy body.

On my XB body the door handles are not painted either, the torso only has the seat belts and buckles painted the rest is white, and the paint line runs through the middle of the door handle, on that model its below.

Nice restomod, keep the pics coming! -
Nice build! Does this kit have any relation to the TRF211XM kit Tamiya just released apart from the obvious differences like the chassis? I have one on order.
-
I would rather spend my money on a new TRF kit like qatmix mentioned. I just ordered the new TRF211XM 2wd buggy kit myself.

I really enjoyed this build. I liked being able to use the old school brushed motor/esc combo in conjunction with Airtronics receiver and high torque servo and lipo battery. You still get the original sand scorcher feel. Just threw in a sport tuned today, the power is just right.

Thank you. Yes the body is an XB body I was lucky enough to find on ebay UK. It had a couple scratches on the glass and some spots on the paint. I changed out the glass with the one supplied in my kit and did a polish on the body and it looks brand new. I tried painting the box art myself but it didn't turn out good. Hopefully I'll do better with a solid color runner body.

Thanks. Yeah I bought a second body to be my runner. I think it will be solid red like the one on the "Kolor Works" decal.
