  1. I had a Tundra, it looked great I fitted a Junfac kit and Gmade team zero shocks, I also had 1.9 beadlock alloy wheels and 110mm tyres on it. But as I said it looked great but it wouldn't climb anything and it rolled over more times than it was on its wheels.

So I sold it and bought this, it was a great kit to build and it goes almost anywhere you want it too.

Looks awesome. How does it run offroad now with the Junfac parts?

I haven't had a chance to take it out yet, but even after removing the side steps I'm still getting a little bit of rubbing, I made a little obstacle course in the front room.

Maybe some slightly smaller tyres 100mm instead of the 110mm that are fitted.

  3. This is the Tundra after a few runs I realised that it wasn't the best off road so I fitted a Junfac kit including steering, Gmade Zero shocks, 1.9 beadlock alloy wheels and 110mm tyres this is the result.

Much better, but since taking these pictures I have had to remove the side steps to stop rubbing.

  4. I'm in the process of building a Tamiya Tundra and I want to build a trailer to tow my Sand Scorcher, Ford Ranger or Super Hotshot.  So I wanted to see how you guys have your tow hitches attached to your crawlers.

You can also post pics of your trailers as well.

Can you send us a pic of this paint stripper as i also have to re paint my grand hauler shell and rear wheel fenders and as you say its just spray ,strip and rinse in water im up for that

Here you good bud, this 500ml did both body's three coats on each and there's still some left.

When you apply it paste it on really thick leave it for a couple of hours wash it off dry the shell then repeat until it's all gone both my shells took about three coats.

  6. If you're going to strip the whole body use Wilkos paint stripper.

I stripped the body on my Vintage Ford Ranger body (which I was very nervous about) and I've also done my 2010 Sand Scorcher, both times  I had no problems at all brought them up really clean.

Just washed them off with cold water and they were ready to paint.

I think this pic from my mate's build thread shows the issue nicely:

As you can see, the metal diff pinion has a longer shank than the plastic one. From what I gather, if you file it down to about the same length, it won't bind.

Thank you all sorted now runs perfectly.
