Thanks for the reply, I had some paint bleed when I did mine, but put it down to the masking tape used. Seriously considering buying another one now🤔 -

Great looking car, yellow and black suit it. Be good to see it with the driver completed and the decals applied👍 -
Never found one for the interior, if there is nothing one this forum it might be best searching crawler forums for the interior. Mine just had the standard driver figure and that was it.

Took the lunchbox out for a blast today and came back with a broken battery bracket. I need to order a D parts tree after holiday. And I found out the window masks on my Masami kit leave some nasty residue.

Looking good and a very good colour choice. Were the masks pre cut? -
I use a propeller balancer, I picked it up for about £10 off the auction site. You can also use the front wheel of a 2WD buggy. Last time I did a set of wheels I used the front axle of my KR. Makes a big difference I have found, car runs much smoother.

I use clear rhino tape or helicopter tape as a chassis protector. Works really well and the carbon still shows through👍

Mounted, glued and balanced my new wheels and tyres.

It's an achievement in itself how they manage to get everything in. I only need to take one bag out and I cannot get it all back in again😁

They are aluminium/chrome or silver, I found this guide excellent when I painted mine. http://www.rcracer.com/2010/06/how-to-paint-injection-moulded-hard-plastic-bodyshells/

The box is pretty much standard size for Schumacher kits
-
According to the Masami manual, the gearbox will handle 17.5 brushless with the standard transmission and 6.5 with the transmission upgrade

Got a new set of hex drivers

I had TRF big bore aeration shocks on my DB01, as above they were excellent
-
Yes they do, except for the Masami, I had to cut that out😁

As above, go to your local track and see what is popular. Also think about spares availability, as you have put £1k I assume you are in the uk? If so Schumacher, would be a good choice, spares are easily available and the customer service very good.

Started the build on my Cat which includes cutting out the under tray. So while I was at it, I cut out the body and spoiler as well👍Now I need some paint and a masking tutorial for the box art

I shall give it a go👍

On the mobile app, I press the camera button which takes me to my photo gallery, click the photos I want to share, click next, add a title, then click post. Once it's posted if you click on the post and the picture the share button comes up, click that and you can select copy link. Then just paste the link into the post. I hope that reads less confusing than I think it sounds👍

Yes it's Imgur I use, upload the pic then share the link 👍Picture shows up on the forum.

Not sure really, I was told this was the first batch and the second would be available in august. I don't know if that will be it or not
