Building a track for vintage/re-re fun
chevelle replied to Robert5000's topic in General discussions
Yes it is pvc tube, but only 50mm stuff so the car can go over You can get 20mm stuff, so even easier for the cars to go over -
Building a track for vintage/re-re fun

My backyard track is a "pop up style" track I have a 200mm jump and some corner markers which help give it a little realism -
Twice I have regretted a sale, Lucky for me though, After no response / payment from the buyers I cancelled the order before things really went south. I see Ebay now automatically opens non payment cases after 48 hrs, Although I like this It does annoy me that they state it is the seller who has opened the case, When in fact it is an Ebay automation. Of course they are just trying to insure they get their bit...

It actually looks like you have a Monster Beetle chassis with yellow cva rear shocks & front uprights with brat inner springs. Brat rear body posts and the dt holiday buggy wheels It is a great platform though and I would be happy to trade those front uprights for some frog/brat ones & the brat rear body mounts for a front brat cross member to help this project along Thanks for the inspiration credit, but I will have to give a shout out to @JennyMo who inspired me @JennyMo Fro-Sco

I have installed several MCI decal sets using the trusted soapy water and hair dryer method, Yes they are heavier than Tamiya decals but find they mold well

Use a hair dryer to heat them up, Then work the wrinkles out

Advice on rescuing a hardbody paint mistake
chevelle replied to Buggyjam's topic in General discussions
Unfortunately Sir there is no easy fix for this The only way that this wont show, Is to sand back and repaint The problem is, That unless the surrounding paint is the same level, It will always show ...... -
Here a few options for you There are the waffles that will fit the Scorcher rim (not Tamiya brand) You could use some Brat or Rough Rider rear wheels + tyres OR I have seen some Audi/Opel front tyres on brat rims (the honda city fronts will be easier to source )

Yup, That Sir is cool

OMG! Never stand in front of that @ ANY SPEED

Time to vote!!!! Two vintage vehicles... make a choice
chevelle replied to iluvmud's topic in Vintage Tamiya Discussion
I have both of them and this is a very hard choice Considering 1 is a beautiful looking 2wd and the other is beautiful looking 4wd I went with the Egress because when I was adding the cars to my collection I went after the Egress first, Which must mean something -
