  1. I used the Aqroshot today, with its stock Street Rover tires. The oversteer / sliding is fun in its own way!
  2. @El Gecko , thanks for the callout on the Traxxas Canyon 2.2" tires. Are these the items, originally intended for the TRX-4 trail models? https://traxxas.com/products/parts/8170
  3. Thanks, @Sgt.Speirs, those Pro-Line Hoosier "dirt oval" tires would work really well! One thing I just thought of: mounting any tire made of a softer rubber compound, I'll probably have to glue them, as the original Tamiya tires are sturdy enough to stay on the wheel well on their own.
  4. Forgot to say -- I haven't glued the stock Aqroshot tires to the wheels. The tires seem attached well, and don't rotate on the wheels. I also am running only brushed-motor power with a 6-cell NiMH battery -- so not a lot of torque being sent to the wheels!
  5. Not having much (or any) tread pattern should work fine for running on streets. Maybe even better than having any pins/spikes/blocks from a fresh off-road tire.
  6. The stock tires on the Aqroshot are the same ones as on the Street Rover. They seem not to have great grip, and the car has a lot of oversteer when driving (the back-end slides out). I'm hoping replacing at least the rear tires with something softer will help. Just to be clear, I don't yet know if the Traxxas Anaconda tires intended for the Bandit buggy's rear wheels will fit the stock Aqroshot wheels, but I'll give it a try!
  7. Would the Traxxas Anaconda tires intended for the Bandit buggy rear wheels (2.2") work? https://traxxas.com/products/parts/2478 I have been looking for higher-traction replacement tires for the original-equipment Street Rover tires on my 58610 Aqroshot.
