It will not be painted box art. As the shell reminds me of fighter plane, my paint scheme for it based on a P-47 Thunderbolt.

Finished sanding and masking of my Super Avante body shell. If the weather is good and I find some time it will get the first layer of paint.

I would use some double sided adhesive tape and mount it where it suits best.

Just checked my DT-02 with a silver can motor. I have a 19T Tamiya steel pinion installed. It's close to the edge but it work, some Loctite however is mandatory in this position. The pinion does not perfectly align with the spur gear but up to now there is no problem with it.

Cut out all body parts for the Super Avante. This build is starting with the body... And now a lot of sanding.

Some Hop-Ups for my TD4.

The bodies are chrome plated. There are several ways to get it off the body, like drain cleaner or dish washer tabs. I didn't do that before but I would say that you can also grind them and then paint them. Especially if they are used as a bumper car they probably don't need to be in concourse state.

As I am not a native English speaker I'm always a little bit reserved to avoid confusion from wrong diction. BTW: In Germany the answer to the question of the sky colour would mostly be: "This question was asked many times before, use the search function!"

The protective film is a matt film which tends to peel on the edges. So, if you have a nice and shiny body shell with no peeling on the edges there is no protective film on it.

Is it possible that this is only available at Towers Hobbies? The designation as Exclusive Limited Edition makes me think so. Also there is nothing else to find on the web.

Today I took the M-06 Alfa Romeo Giulia to its first proper run. What a great little car. Running a Sport Tuned Motor on 2S results in some tire rubbing and a major grip roll . But had a lot of fun. The motor gets pretty hot. Maybe I have to gear down a bit.
