  1. Great work Busdriver! I love the paint scheme of your Guilia. Green and yellow work very well together.
  2. Congratulations @Nikko85. Enjoy the time with this little guy.
  3. Awesome work you've done there. 👍
  4. Painted and installed the light buckets for the Audi V8.
  5. I would say it's the same colour as on the other Jägermeister cars of Tamiya PS-62 Pure Orange. But as the manual is not available yet, it is not confirmed.
  6. It seems that the HD servo saver is thicker than the one from the kit. What about changing the direction of the ball ends so that they sit where now the screw nuts are? Then there should be enough space between steering rods and upper arms.
  7. Thanks @WillyChang! I don't thought about Shapeways. I will have a look at it.
  8. I was wondering if there are different body posts for the CC-01 hard bodies available. As far as I know the only ones are part number 310005523 which fits for all CC-01 hard bodies?! I would like to lift the body of a Isuzu Mu a bit without too much effort and been searching for some different rear body posts. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction?
  9. I have installed five of them up to now and have no problems till now. Will order them again. If they were waterproof it would be perfect.
  10. It's interesting that it is that expensive. I can order the TD2 in Germany for €245 posted (and in stock), which is less than NZ$400 and around £200. And the XV-02 is on pre-order for €300 which is around £250. I was always jealous on the cheap kit prices outside Germany, but now it seems to be the other direction.
  11. @Lee1075 that's absolutely amazing. Can't wait to see the finished car.
  12. The bushings will be replaced with bearings and the mod with the brass bushings is also planned. The idea with the pool grease for sealing the axle is very good. I will think about that. The car is for the son of my wife's cousin, he is eight years old and this will probability be his first hobby grade RC. The car once belonged to his uncle who passed away 20 years ago. It's a little bit complicated. But I thought it would be nice to keep it in the family as it is there for at least 25 years. I will just change it from low ride to off-road style and put in a slow motor.
  13. Opened a vintage CC-01 rear axle.
  14. Nice to see you back @Ferruz!
  15. Maybe it is an option to divide the decals into narrower stripes? I think it's easier to bend it over the curves when it's not so wide. If you go with one of the new options I would choose B2.
  16. I think this would be too big for your Buggy as the spoiler is for an 1:8 car. I had a similar idea and bought this one for my Dirt Thrasher: https://tamico.de/3Racing-160mm-PP-Side-Wings-fuer-1-10-Buggy-Car-White Although it is meant for 1:10 it is still a tad too big. Next I will try something like this: https://www.ebay.de/itm/373396524599 They are quite cheap and available in different colours. Delivery will possibly took some time as they are shipped from China. Also available at Ali or Banggood.
  17. Sounds interesting. But I think the realization of the motion sequence needed for steering is too complicated. Even more if the if the "driver" should be interchangeable from one car to another. But it would be cool.
  18. Impressive work on the cockpit and heads. 👍
  19. That Tyco Bandit looks gorgeous. I would definitely leave it as it is. Body and wheel combo looks great. I think I need to look out for a Bandit and a QD chassis.
  20. Pogo sticks, bumper and steering linkage from my meanwhile sold Bullhead. Free to anyone who cover postage.
  21. Happy Birthday!
  22. Maybe you've hide the section with the small arrow?
