  1. Have you tried to start the process from the beginning? Don't know the ESC but when you follow the steps in the manual from the beginning you should be able to complete the calibration.
  2. I'm planning to do the change to XV-01 rear hubs on my TD4. Regarding that, I have some questions: I've been looking around and was able to find some parts that are needed. But I wasn't able to find a complete list of parts which are needed. Does someone who have made this mod have a part list for it? Is it necessary to change something on the front to use aftermarket wheels? Thanks!
  3. Had my 4WD Buggy "fleet" out in the garden. The Mini Inferno only had a short test run after trying to remove some drag from the drive train. Still not really good but getting better. The TD4 has too much grip with the kit tires on a grass/moss surface but ran very smooth if not going to fast (as this will cause grip rolls). The Dirt Thrasher has too less grip with its cheap Carson buggy tires but this in combination with its wider track makes it possible to run it faster.
  4. I don’t have the MB-01 chassis but I've just checked the manual online. If I understand the manual correctly you should ensure that the little shaft which connects the outdrives and which seems to lay on these on your picture will not fall out during assembly. First I would try to install it without the use of glue. If this will not work I would try something like UHU glue and not superglue just to keep it in place during assembly. Hope this helps.
  5. According to the different manuals the standard paint for both BRZ (street version or R&D race version) is PS-16 if we are talking about the polycarbonate shell for the 1:10 RC car.
  6. Great read @Ferruz and what a beauty on the track. Lovely Pictures! And even the marks on the shell at the end of the day looks cool in my opinion. Did you ever seen a shiny clean car after a race?
  7. I have a silver one which I've found at the local recycling centre. Will watch your work with interest as mine is currently just another project in a long line.
  8. I've also had think about the DT-01, even as I have a NIB Mad Fighter, but in my eyes it have to be an independent suspension vs the ridgid axle of the DT-01. Maybe I will watch out for both Bear Hawk and Madcap. No need to rush here... Thank you guys.
  9. For me it's more like thirds (depending on the complexity of the decaling): First: fear of ruin it Second: decaling Third: admiring the result (at least if it turns out good)
  10. Thank you. I had the Madcap in mind but it seems the Bear Hawk is closer. And easier to replicate as it shares a lot of parts with the Blitzer Beetle as far as I know.
  11. Over the last couple of days I designed and printed an offroad camping trailer for my TRX4M. The frame is a redesign from Thingiverse but the cab is completely self-designed. Still waiting for the hitch for the car and some slightly smaller wheels and tires. As this is the first try which has some faults I will probably not painting it and just make some test runs to see if it works properly.
  12. I've just started to rearrange my shelf as I want a little bit more structure in it and a more pleasing presentation of my cars. Due to this I came back to a thought I had several times before but I had never brought to an end. I have both the TD4 and his 2WD sibling the TD2. And I have a DF-01 Dirt Thrasher. And there is were my thinking begins and directly strumbles when it comes to a possible sibling. My question to the experts is, is there a 2WD sibling for the DF-01?
  13. I don’t know for what the synthetic rubber cement is use for in the M-08 but usual the standard UHU cement or something similar is suitable when the manual asks for synthetic rubber cement.
  14. Welcome back @Frankster.Lovely collection you've got there.
  15. For me it is the clearance sale of Tamtech buggies and touring cars several years ago. They were pretty cheap but budget was tight at that time.
  16. Member @OoALEJOoO has done this with a TT-01E. I think it should be transferable in certain parts to a TT-02. He also started a thread regarding a one-way diff as far as I remember. Edit: After reading the other answers I realized that the question was for the TT-02B. I've only read 'onroad' and missed the B. I leave it here however as I think it might be helpful anyway. Will read the text better next time.
  17. This is sad news. RIP WillyChang.
  18. To be honest I don't see the problem and I can't understand your (in my opinion) your rude language. Please calm down, it's just a thread on a forum and the peaceful flow is not destroyed by those words. We should refuse to have the same rude language in this place like in the rest of the internet.
  19. Was on a expedition with the TRX4M and the FCX24...
  20. Congratulations on your very own buggy @BuggyDad. It looks great, very impressive work!
  21. Yes, I was surprised to see the clear gearbox and the red and green gears. I've already had a Mad Fighter which I've sold and that one had the Black gearbox/axle housing. Good luck with your project, currently I'm also customizing a Mad Fighter shell to build a modern version of it on a modern chassis.
