  1. I don't know, could be possible. But it could also be possible that due to manufacturing tolerances or wear the grub scew didn't match perfectly with the pinion. Maybe try another grub screw and/or pinion and don't be to shy with the Loctite.
  2. I think the tool is secondary. Use a little bit more than a tiny bit of Loctite 243.
  3. For the standard DT-03 star dish wheels there are no Tamiya road tires. I'm pretty sure you will not find any road tires for those wheels. Maybe someone else is aware of of some. You could try Carson ones which are pretty common for the DT-02 and DT-03. At least here in Germany. There are several types and they come as complete wheels. Here's an example: https://www.carson-modelsport.com/carson_de/ersatzteile-zubehoer/rc-zubehoer/reifen-raeder/all-terrain-2wd-reifen-set-4-500900134-de.html If you prefer Tamiya I guess you have to go with the Aqroshot ones which are 2.2.
  4. There was a smale range of RC sailing boats years ago. 56201 - 56205. Maybe it was not that popular so it was discontinued?!
  5. Interesting marketing idea. So people will buy one kit for running, one for the shelf, one for NIB and additional five in hope fore the limited edition spanner.
  6. A new unused Mad Fighter body shell, I found on a classified website for a very reasonable price.
  7. Happy Birthday @Busdriver! Nice present from your daughter.
  8. Do special editions of Tamiya m-chassis wheels exist? I saw some Fiat Abarth wheels in a light metallic blue the other day. And they didn't look like they were painted as they were still on the parts tree.
  9. As I said before, what a beauty. Besides one exception I run all my cars but this one would stay on the shelf as I would be afraid to scratch it. Great work! 👍
  10. You can find all safety data sheets on the homepage of the German Tamiya distributor. Unfortunately only in German language. Please go to https://www.tamiya.de/tamiya_de/home/ search for the applicable part number and find the SDS in the download area.
  11. Beautiful. All the effort you put into the masking was well worth the time.
  12. Tamiya Subaru Impreza WRC Monte-Carlo 05 Drift Spec (58349)
  13. Nice pic @Jorgen. The best place to run a Blitzer Beetle is the beach.
  14. I love your FAV @ChrisRx718. The shark mouth version is so cool. 😎
  15. For that reason I've just bought two new NiMH batteries. I love the performance of my LiPo batteries but they are more or less useless for spontaneous running of RC cars. If I have an hour of spare time and like to run a car in the backyard and have only Lipo batteries I could keep everything where it is. Too much hassle pre and post running.
  16. Yes, if you only want the rear a few mm wider it's perfect. I will have to test if they will be enough for my purpose as I want to fit Sand Scorcher wheels and its possible that I need a little bit more than 4 mm. Maybe I need to change the inner bearing for a more narrow one.
  17. Found the information online. For anyone who is interested the axles are 39 mm long (35 mm is standard) and fit the M-06.
  18. Does anyone know if the long wheel axles from the TG10 will fit the M-06? And if so, how much longer are they compared to stock ones? Thanks.
  19. Awesome work! Looks great. 👍
  20. Otherwise you could find it here: https://customer-service.tamiya.de/de/service/anleitungen/?lp=7&ln=90&ls=name-asc&ps=7
  21. Some very different things where delivered today, but all of them RC related. Got a Brother labelling machine (which was a bargain) to get more structure in my parts stash , some needles for my airbrush, a LiPo bag, some cheap 1.9 beadlock wheels and two Nimh batteries. These are for unplanned running my cars. I have some LiPo batteries but sometimes when you're coming home and have half an hour of spare time for running a car in the backyard it kills the plan if you need to charge a battery first.
  22. All of them looking great@Nikko85. But I'm slightly leaning towards the yellow rims for the Land Rover, which looks gorgeous as a monster truck by the way. With the yellow wheels it looks like a Camel Trophy Monster. I would keep the white wheels on the Toyota.
  23. Welcome back.
  24. Yes it's a great car. Unfortunately I've broke a steering arm yesterday so I have to wait for the spare part. Maybe the weather was too cold for the plastic. The grip is far better with these wider tires. They are RC4WD Attitude M/T 1.9 mounted on 2.2 China beadlock wheels. The foams are a tad to wide, 4-5 mm less would be perfect. But I wasn't brave enough to cut them yet.
