  1. Here's a picture of the real car on FB; https://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=115444934347557&id=112088908016493&set=a.114985634393487&refid=13&__tn__=%2B> It's not the no. 92 but same livery.
  2. Just a quick question regarding the TT-02 Porsche 911 RSR: Do I have to use the long wheel axles for this body or are the wide rear wheel enough? Edit: Forget my question, I've just checked the parts tree. There are only the standard ones. So the question is already answered.
  3. Do you want aluminium parts or the stock plastic ones? The stock ones are 50736.
  4. That looks so cool. Great work! Now I want a M-chassis Beetle.
  5. This is a nice idea! Achievement: I've bought a 3D printer (late in the year) and made my first self-designed RC parts, including a new electronic plate for the TD4 and a micro crawler frame. I have started to learn how to do CAD drawings, but that's a long way. Honorable Mention: In the beginning of 2022 I've got several cars from the aunt and uncle of my wife. Those cars had belong to their son who has died several years ago. One of the cars was a blue painted Isuzu Mu in a broken and incomplete state. I've decided to rebuild it with parts from my stash and a lot of new parts. I converted it from a fast and low street car to a mild trail runner. It's still the blue Isuzu Mu but a slow one (it doesn't lost his character). My aim from the beginning was to give it back to my wife's aunt and uncle so they could give it to their grandsons. I like the idea that they make their first steps in hobby-grade RC with a car of their uncle they never knew. My goal for 2023: To improve my CAD skills to get the parts out of my 3D printer I imagine.
  6. Send me a PM. I'm happy to help.
  7. Visit the not-so-local LHS and came back with a rare Losi Micro Crawler spare part, MST rally tires, Killerbody light set and a Tamiya Porsche 911 RSR kit. I only wanted the Losi spare part but to justify the trip I decided to get the other stuff additionally.
  8. Try Thingiverse and search for Tamiya ORV. There you could find a skid plate.
  9. As you already pointed out you could use a GT-5 with all receivers you've already got. You should check the costs of receivers before you decide for a specific radio as they could be pricey. Personally I wouldn't change the TX/RX unless it's been discontinued and there are no receivers available anymore.
  10. Thanks. As far as I'm aware it's a rebranded Flysky GT-5. Reely is a brand of Conrad Electronic one of the oldest sellers of electronic products incl. RC technology.
  11. I've got a Reely GT6 Evo transmitter (re-branded Flysky) from my wife. Merry Christmas to all!
  12. This is how I handle it. I took all parts which were new into account even if they came from the stash. Used parts like oil shocks or an old ESC which I've once bought with an used car don't.
  13. Glad you're feeling better and welcome back! Enjoy your hobby again. Can't say anything about the decision which TT-02 chassis is the best. I've just build a standard TT-02 with very limited hop ups as part of the budget rally build off but have nothing to compare. But I enjoyed the build with tinkering here end there to convert it to a entry level rally car. Have fun whatever you decide.
  14. I like this re-release, but I would have preferred the red and white Alfa Romeo livery. I would also like to see a Opel Omega EVO 500 DTM.
  15. It's a JConcepts F-250 body with Traxxas roll bar.
  16. Oh no. I'm also sure it was the truck. Hopefully your son will be fine again soon @Kol__. Regarding the run time of the lipo battery I never watched the clock when running it but I would estimate between 20 and 30 minutes. I'm using the 4000 mAh Gartpot 2S Lipos. They are round hard case batteries and fit the Tamiyas very well. They were quite cheap when I've bought them, around 25€, but I'm not sure if they are still available. The tires are cheap monster truck tires from eBay. They come with chrome plated plastic rims but they fits the kit wheels perfectly. And they are looking great on this truck, like a Monster Truck. Here's the link: https://www.ebay.de/itm/225259623178?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=707-127634-2357-0&ssspo=ji03ozantxy&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=PX2xHBTCTKm&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=MORE And here are two pics of mine when it was not so beaten like it now is: As you can see on the first picture I also fitted cheap Carson oil shocks.
  17. I'm running a Wild Dagger chassis with two silver cans, quicrun dual motor esc and 20t pinion. I've put bigger tires on it and run it with 2S Lipo. It's fast enough for my backyard.
  18. You can see an example in the first post of page 9 of this thread. @Cuiken has use the same kit for his budget rally build.
  19. Over the last couple of days I've designed (and also downloaded) and printed some parts for my TD4. I've changed the layout of the cars to a transverse shorty Lipo battery and made new radio plate and a bracket to stop the battery from sliding forward. Nothing too complicated but for the plate I need three versions until I was satisfied. The battery door and posts are from Thingiverse. I think I will print them again with different parameters to achieve a better surface. But for now I'm happy.
  20. It's working without any problems in my Wild Dagger which got the same chassis.
  21. I wouldn't say sadly. All the things you've built are absolutely awesome. I love your builds and will be very happy if I ever can do something like that with my 3D printer.
  22. Not sure if it is a direct fit but at drifted.nl you could get light buckets from RC Arlos which fits their only Supra body. Here's the link: https://www.drifted.nl/en/light-buckets-for-toyota-supra-a80-rocket-bunny.html Maybe they can tell you if it will fit.
  23. Got my 3D printer today. After all installations I've made some adjustments and tests it seems that there is only some fine-tuning necessary. Tomorrow I will try to print the first RC related stuff.
  24. Yes. Tamiya TD4 Super Avante with alloy diff nuts, slipper and metal bevel gears and BL system: 1469g
