  1. Thanks for the tip Willy
  2. Hmmm... I have a spare unbuilt M-05 chassis and a ReRe finished Sand Scorcher body. Could this work?
  3. Awesome thanks!!!
  4. Had to join the club to get a key. But now, yep just rock up and roll.
  5. I'm a offroad nut. But I do have a superb sealed track near my house that I occasionally run my buggies on and I do have some old alfa', mini's ect. every now and then I see the race meets and think "that could be fun, but those cars look terrible" However, I've been thinking about purchasing an on road beast, tamiya of course, but putting a vintage shell on it. I know nothing about on-road can someone give me the heads up on what is Tamiya's quickest competitive platform and motor combo?
  6. Awesome info dude!!!
  7. What's your ultimate brushed motor/esc combo for vintage/ReRe runners?
  8. Haha, I understood about 25% of what you said! But in summary I guess I'll try it for a few runs the shelf it.
  9. I have a dynamite esc that goes down to 9. I'll throw that in. Thinking of using this on an egress now to avoid plastic melt from the hot motor.
  10. Hmmm, might not then. I wonder if it'd work in my egress then considering it has aluminium mount, what would be the smallest pinion to use? Or should I just shelf this motor? I have it so keen to use it...any ideas forum peeps?
  11. What esc did you run with it? Would a TEU 302bk be alright?
  12. Anyone used one of these before? Thinking I might chuck it in my pig.
  13. Might give it a crack then
  14. Darryn, I too am in Australia and want to know the best way to purchase XLS, what are your plans? (Mine will be a runner!!!) Thanks Lucas.
  15. What is this motor? Could I put this in my Hotshot? Would it be too quick and ruin the gears? I'm running a TEU 302 BK esc.
  16. Eitherway, I still would like a Samurai for the shelf. It's a great looking "naked" buggy. The Ninja has some of those futuristic looks akin to the dragon series Tamiya's and the Shogun...well that's just **** cool. It takes me back to the Sega Megadrive game of the same name. I think these three deserve respect. So I tip my hat!
  17. Are these two buggies any chance of being ReRe? I've owned most Marui's, never a Samurai however but love these as shelfies. Maybe even a Ninja???
  18. Any tips or suggestions for my Bigwig runner regarding motor esc setup? Hoping it will go toe to toe with my hopped up HS.
  19. Looks great in red, never occurred to me but makes sense seeing that the HS is red.
  20. Awesome
  21. Sweet, thanks guys!
  22. Hi Brainstrust, I have a spare painted ReRe sand scorcher body. Any thoughts what I can do with it? Don't have a SRB chassis.
  23. I went black on the Saint, same sticker colours, chassis and wheels so could work on a madcap too?
